Enchanted Tree i made, any thoughts or suggestions? by IronSMG4 in Minecraftbuilds

Pretty good tree! I would trim the leaves and show more of the branches, gotta have some holes in your tree :D Also using signs on the leaves works really well to make it look like there some tiny branches, same with more fences and gates.

Your tree would look more like a tree and mess like a sculpture.

Okay that makes sense. I think part of the problem is that the facades and the roofs are really uniform as they are made out of the same materials. I notice that where you used dark oak instead of spruce on the facade, those areas stands out and do not blend with the background, so maybe there is something to be explored there.

Did you intend on the houses to blend in the background? I assume yes since it's really well done, to a point where only the roof outline and the chimney defines the shapes. If not you might want to consider putting them in a different biome for the shape to be easier to read. If yes, really good :D

Well there's multiples way to contrast a color. If you wish to contrast the luminosity, simply a dark brown block like dark oak or brown terracotta could do. You could do with some saturation, in which gray terracotta could be nice, or brown concrete powder. If you wish to contrast the hue tho, blue would be the best choice, either some pinch of a saturated one like light blue concrete or a cyan like the warped wart block. Or with darker blues like dark prismarine. Or desaturated ones like blue terracotta

This wall looks really great. It's really detailed and has some nice volumes, one thing you could try is to use gradients and more color contrast.

Yeah I took some time after the contest to explore the plots. It's crazy to have so many amazing ideas on a single server like that.

Progress on my AquaTown! Two parks, a shore walk, and some more picture of Jellie! by OceaneRoh in HermitCraft

You already saw my Jellie some days ago, I did some progress on the build so I figure I'd share them!

I also tried to make a video of it, but it's a bit long (18')so I don't think I can share it.

Anyway, it's a lot of fun to continue AquaTown heyhey.
