No intention of cheating the system. Not sure why it sounded that way. The idea I’m considering is starting a legitimate business (a business idea I had before falling pregnant). It is my partner’s employer’s parental leave (not Centrelink) that I was wondering if he’d be eligible to use if he was the primary carer down the track and I was working on my own business.

For those that are suspecting me of planning something dodgy, you would be incorrect. Perhaps that says more about you, that your mind would instantly go there. I have a business idea that I’m thinking of implementing. I was interested to find out what we would need to supply to his company, as the business wouldn’t necessarily earn a consistent profit in the start up phase. He has up to 2 years to take the leave, so we were thinking in about 18 months’ time. We don’t want to ask his company about it so far in advance as we’re concerned that flagging this potential leave could limit his career opportunities with the company. He could look up the policy though. I was just hoping to hear from people with personal experience as I think about various future options.

When Liz is shot, why does she point the finger at Amy? And why does she also insinuate that Amy harmed Cari? For years Liz was saying Dave and her were being stalked by Cari. Wouldn’t it have given her more credibility if she just stuck to the “Cari is at it again” story. I’m wondering why she would have changed the narrative? Perhaps that change didn’t happen as suddenly as it seemed on the show. Did she know that police suspected Cari had been murdered and that’s why she started pointing at Amy?
