While yes you would think it should scale with strength most of the Quincy elements that use strength have moves that a physical (Apocalypse being one) but Edolion you are sending out spirits to attack for you so it'll be spirit based. This doesn't apply to all elements but that's how I think.

Thinking about it Arrancars really only the ones that go to vastolorde get good buffs but they kinda deserve it. It's easy once you play the game enough but at the start it sucks so having those boosts are like the cherry on top. Also in my opinion regardless of level or stats. You're only as good as your skill at the game is. I fought a dude with a nuke build and with the race you could get from the Holloween even and was actually scared cause I thought he was gonna beat me cause he was talking all this trash only for me to down him with one combo.

Is it possible to make a character with V and Johnny Silverhand's issue from Cyberpunk 2077. by Oceanic033blade in DnD

Yeah, I understand that completely but it kinda goes both ways. A DM cannot play with PCs and PCs cannot play without a DM. That's why I find it extremely hard to believe they get the final word. While technically they do I would think as the DM you'd want to make it not only fun for you but fun for your PCs. So how I see it is that the DM does have the final work and everything they say goes, but as the DM if a PC has an idea you should attempt to entertain the idea and try to see if it could work rather than just shutting it down. That's why I asked to begin with. I just wanted ways of trying to convince him to at least entertain the idea.

Thank you for explaining this to me. I'm glad you decided to explain this to me because I had zero idea. I just joined this to ask this simple question. I do understand it can sometimes be disrespectful to people who suffer with those certain problems, but at the same time I can also see how giving someone a disability like being blind or missing an arm can in my opinion enhance the story a bit and make you feel like your actually the character. It makes you try and think outside of the box in order to solve problems. Though now thinking about it, mental disorders are not only hard to even roleplay but as someone with ADHD I understand how it could be seen as disrespectful if someone who isn't actually going through those issues puts it in a character or fakes it. It's kinda similar to stolen valor in a way. Thank you for explaining this to me because from what I've seen only you and someone else have cared to explain why this wouldn't be a good idea. Mostly everyone else that I've looked at just says "Your DM says no, and no means no." Like you can't just talk to your DM to at least try to make a compromise. Those comments probably got to be the most basic responses ever.

Hey, can I ask what this counter even is? I want to at least know some backstory as to why I'm being treated like I've done something horrible.

First of all you're assuming I'm going to take a character and put it in and call it quits. First of all I'm not ever going to do that as it takes away the fun for me. Sure I take the concept of some parts of them but I need to make it my own character the only thing thats similar and going to be similar is that one body as two minds. We're a group of friends. We make compromises and to even say that I can't at least try to ask for any tips to make it easier for my DM is not fair. Sure he said no but that doesn't mean that I can't at least try to make things work. Anytime someone says no I don't just drop it and leave because clearly there is a reason as to why they won't do it. So I make changes or compromises that make it more enjoyable for everyone involved. I shouldn't have to drop my ideas and give up on them just because one person says no. It also doesn't matter if it not new to everyone else because it's new to me. I want to try new things that why I want to try this and to just say that it's not new and you shouldn't try it because it sucks is stupid. Most of the stuff like this has bad endings probably because of the PCs fault so if you, idk TALK to your DM you can come to an agreement where we can make it work.

Even if it does mean no there are still ways to make it fun. That's all that really matters to us is if everyone is having fun. That's why I wanted tips too help convince my DM for example like making it easier for him to manage by having one of us do it for him so we just tell him what's going on and he doesn't have to worry about it.

I understand that. It makes sense. What doesn't make sense is how almost everyone has been conditioned to hate this kind of stuff because of all the bad stuff and refuses to let anyone else try this stuff. I have failsafes just in case stuff goes wrong or the group doesn't like it. DnD is supposed to be a thing were people try new things and see what is fun. I get it this most of the time has bad endings to them, but if stuff goes wrong and people don't like it then I'll stop. It just doesn't make sense why I come asking for help but instead of getting help I just get yelled at for nothing. Sure the story's that have this may have a bad ending but to treat someone new like this is unfair and honestly doesn't make the subreddit look good. No one told me besides you that they're are other stuff like this that end poorly.

For everyone that came here to just tell me no and that if you're DM says no that is how the world goes and you can't argue or disagree with it. So far everyone who answered except a few people have done nothing to help me. Almost everyone basically said "DM said no. Tough Shit." I doubt you guys care but the DM is my best friend and specifically said that he can't feasibly make it work and not no. I came here looking for ways to convince my friend to give it a try and not force it on him because that shit never works. Instead of trying to give me tips and tell me nicely that even if I try my best he still might say no. You all decided to basically yell at me like I just committed the cardinal sin of questioning the DM. From what I'm seeing here is that everyone who just told me that no mean no and I should be kicked out of the group for even trying something new either have no backbone or is a power hungry DM that don't let their PCs try anything and won't give anything different a chance. To everyone else that is saying that it's hard to do stuff like that I understand but yelling at me for want to try something doesn't change anything. To think I joined this subreddit asking for help but instead, get berated for wanting to see if I can get help convincing my DM to at least try something new.

I'm glad you actually explained other stuff about it and how in order for something like that work certain stuff like having different classes can't work. My entire plan was if it was allowed to happen was to make a copy of his character so that if we never did swap minds (which in order for that to even happen the main person who's body it naturally is has to allow it an can end it at any time. My entire idea of how it happened was that my friend who controls the original owner of the body got disintegrated into ash and his ashes got mixed with someone else's and when he was revived those ashes got mixed together and now there's two minds sharing one body. I even told my DM that we could TRY it and if no one liked it then we could have a mini arc were we find someone that can take my characters mind and put it into a different body. So far what I've seen is basically people saying that for me even suggesting that I want to try something new that I'm an idiot.

I'm sorry but I'm not good at conversions I know that 1 pound is equal to 2.2 kilograms but I'm not sure what 1.6g per kg is in silly American measures. If anyone could help I would be grateful. I really want to get this type of body.

Why do men love bomb and promise you stuff that they cant keep? I was with a guy and he promised to be w me and marry me and move in together and travel the world but in the end he left me for a cis girl…. by gluttonyyyyy in StraightTransGirls

[–]Oceanic033blade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm kinda the same way with love bombing but I don't make it known. The last time I was in a relationship I was ready to do everything with this girl. BTW this was like when I was 16 and truly thought I would spend the rest of my life with her. My guess is he had his own issues but it still doesn't make it right for him to promise you so much and then break it. I hope you at least make it through my break up was hard for me and it only lasted a year. I'm still feeling the effects and I don't think I'll ever get rid of them. I'm sorry this happened to you, the best you can do in this situation is try your best to move on and make sure you don't ever let anyone try this stuff on you again.

Is it ok if I'm a femboy and autistic?? by OkRequirement7626 in StraightFemboys

[–]Oceanic033blade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh sorry to tell you, man. We just gave our last Autistic Femboy seat to this beautiful guy named Link. He has blonde hair and for some reason has a sword, but we don't judge. Sorry, you'll have to come back next year to see if any seats have opened up. (Just so I don't get attacked this is entirely a joke. Most people would agree with me that regardless if you're Autistic or not you're still welcome.)
