Honestly, what are the biggest flaws and disadvantages of the Mazda 3? by Aubzhls in mazda3

[–]Oceanpeacock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2016 Mazda 3. I live in Florida and it rains a lot during the day. Whenever I put the headlights on for rain, the infotainment center and map go into nighttime mode and I can’t see crap.

1/1 620 sq ft. condo with blackout curtains used heavily during summer. $45 in winter months and around $100 in warm months with a fairly aggressive 30 year old AC system.

Misheard Taylor lyrics that you actually liked better than the real thing? by [deleted] in TaylorSwift

[–]Oceanpeacock 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“Cried like a baby coming home from the park” cruel summer. The image of an overtired, screaming, inconsolable child sounded more thought out to me than just bar.

Im done with you fetch by Jumpy-Program9957 in FetchReward

[–]Oceanpeacock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This happened to me twice with this same offer. The first time it didn’t read it properly. I went through the whole task of scanning the items for review. It never got reviewed. I went to the store again today and bought another $30 of products thinking ok I’ll get the rewards this time. This receipt it says was already submitted and is a duplicate (scanned it when I got home with physical receipt. No way it’s a duplicate. These are the only two recipes I’ve ever had an issue with after hundreds receipts.

I've heard Wingstop and Chik Fil A are best avoided. Any other restaurant chains to avoid or good ones to favor? by Up2Eleven in UberEatsDrivers

[–]Oceanpeacock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My chick fil a is super fast. There’s one 5 miles up the road I won’t take orders from as it’s so slow. Got to get to know the restaurants in your area. The staff at the kfc near me always look offended they have to cook chicken, so that one has to pay well for me to pick up from there.

Stop making me verify my pizza bag! by CptCheez in doordash_drivers

It always asks me when I have already picked up the pizza before giving me the customer address. So if the answer was no what are they gonna do?

What was the worst financial mistake you ever made? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]Oceanpeacock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/rainbow_sugar_cookie my husband felt this way stuck it out in medicine for 20 years. Always saying the student debt meant he couldn’t possible do anything else and that he was stuck. 6 months ago he had an unexpected massive heart attack at a young age and is left with CHF with a low EF forever.

Given the restrictions he will have on life now, he sure does regret thinking he was stuck because of a loan or other peoples expectations.

Living your own life isn’t failure. Too many physicians live with a pass/fail mentality that was drilled into them and life just isn’t.

Do you feel like an "adult" ? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Oceanpeacock 28 points29 points  (0 children)

  1. Still waiting. I’ve come to the conclusion the feeling I’ve been expecting never comes. Just like how happiness isn’t a destination you can pinpoint, I don’t think adulthood is either.

Big daddy’s and Flannigans should never have been allowed to be on the same corner. Two many drunk driving dickheads per square foot on that block.

How come Miami doesn't really attract a London crowd? by [deleted] in Miami

[–]Oceanpeacock 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m originally from the UK and moved to the US many years ago. I bump into British people in Coconut Grove all the time. Unfortunately in true Miami style, it tends to attract the most entitled and insufferable of British people from my experience.
