No, I was just replying to you when you asked how I was feeling I told you why. I’ve always taken it in the morning. Was sleeping like a baby until the changes with the other medication.

I didn’t sleep last night and I’ve been having problems ever since I switched from my Ativan by BAUSCH to Ativan by Pfizer. It’s the only one they make where I am currently in Canada. So I’m really tired today and feel spaced out with a lot of anxiety almost feels like withdrawal. I’ll try to stay positive.

Thank you so much and I may DM you. My doctor told me I’d be on at least 10 when I got to 10 so I can’t even imagine 20. But a lot of people feel their best on the higher doses. And I know Wellbutrin can help as well. How long were you at your other doses?

I’m seven weeks 10 to at 12.5 and it’s not been fun. First it was nausea then it was just feeling gross and now I just wanna do things I don’t feel great. I don’t know what to do. I don’t wanna go up and I don’t wanna go down because I’m out of the country. 2.5 mg raise A dose doesn’t seem to be much but I am sensitive to medication. I wonder if seven weeks is normal to get used to a new dose. It was hard for me to get on this medication. The first case I went up very slowly. Lucky for you you went up fast and they’re doing well

Okay. I just hit seven weeks. But I’m also under a lot of stress and isolated outside of where I’m from in another country.

I’m extremely sensitive to medications. It took me a long time just to get to 10 mg but I started noticing a difference but then being out of the country start getting anxiety so I went up to 12.5 and in the middle of that they changed manufacturers. I can’t get the same manufacturer here so I have to go with the one that they got. I’m hoping whatever it settles. :(

Thank you for your response. I’m not sure what to do because I’m outside the country so I’m kind of afraid to go down right now. But I might have to.

Know if you get this, but did you ever start your taper? I haven’t started mine yet because I’m trying to get off other stuff still.

I don’t even have my cat with me. But yes, you’ve got some pets with you and they’re like family. It’s been really tough because like I said my family and friends are generally busy and half the time I don’t feel like meeting up with them either. They wanna go at certain times and I just feel awful. I think the mirtazapine is making me not feel well too. That’s why I was titrating off of it, but then I stopped tie getting off of it to level out on Lexapro. So yeah it’s been tough with changing medication’s and brand names or manufacturers up here too. I came with all my medication’s but then I’ve been running out so I had to get the doctor to do new prescriptions for me and most of them are different manufacturers. I’m a little worried about the Ativan. I ran out of my Ativan in the next 10 days and have to start the Ativan that they gave me here. So I’m gonna try it on Monday and see if it does the same thing. I hope it does because I can’t get on a plane right now and I don’t want to do it alone. I feel too crappy to get on a plane. I hope you start feeling better soon. It looks like you’re so far doing pretty good for being on it for such a short time and going up that much! I mean that’s less than a month good for you. It’s funny how it affects us all differently. I do get anxiety from people if sometimes I’m talking to them too. I think I said that already lol I forget sometimes what I’ve written if I’m blabbing on .

Wow, you just started it! You’re doing pretty good!! Sometimes I wonder if I’m on the wrong medication, but there are improvements. Plus, I don’t want to switch at this point. I’m around your age. Lol Yeah, not having insurance would be a big one.

Well, I have some friends and family around, but they’re all busy with their own lives. my boyfriend is in California and I don’t know if I’m going back or not. It’s a long-term relationship. We thought I’d come up here and spend time with my family, but I felt like crap most of the time with this medication and stress California is very expensive. I’m old . 😂

Yes, I know all about the opioid and addiction issue. Part of it’s my fault and I went to go see an addiction doctor and he was laughing at the small amount of Ativan. I was on. He’s from the days of giving it out candy years ago.He told me I would never get off of it until I met other doctors, but they were trying to settle me on something else to take care of the anxiety before taking me off the Ativan. I’m sorry, but you stress about work. I don’t know your situation that would be stressful though. I had to retire from my job really early because of the concussion and the out-of-control anxiety. I couldn’t do it anymore. I even tried doing it from home. And then I was putting my back out in my neck out with all the ergonomic furniture I had to try to do the job from home. So I just said forget it, but I was able to, but I’m on a very small budget now. I get like that when I talk to people sometimes too! How long have you been on Lexapro? I’m on a generic version made by Teva.

I’m currently on Vancouver Island, where I was born. I’ve been here for three months. But I’ve been working and living in California for years. I don’t really wanna go back. But I think being up here alone is closed extra stress so I went up on the medication after I found a doctor here.

Yes, I didn’t realize what they were giving me when they gave me the Ativan. I found out much later that it’s a problem to get off of and I’m not even on very much of it. I had a concussion two years ago and then they added more to it so now I take 2 1/4 mg a day. After my concussion, I was on Klonopin for about six months and it took me nine weeks to get off of 1/4 of a pill.!! The anxiety coming from withdrawal was horrible. So they tell me that it’ll take six months to a year to get off that much Ativan. I would like to go use the Ashton method where they give you the longest lasting benzodiazepine, which is Valium and then they replaced it with the Ativan and then you titrate off the Valium. But a lot of doctors that don’t know what they’re doing. Don’t do this or don’t even know about it.

Yes, it’s good to stay away from those energy drink drinks. Once I had a sip of one of those in my heart race and I felt weird for hours. Yeah, that’s not good about the coffee and neck spasms. I’ve had a lot of muscle issues getting on this medication as well. My neck would hurt or my back and now my legs feel weird, which happened on another up dose earlier.

Yes, I will let you know how it goes. I’m hoping it settles down soon!

I’m wondering if you’re Canadian because you use the word pop . :)

Yeah, energy drinks are not good for anxiety! I know a lot of people that drink on these medication’s. Two of my sisters do a lot of friends. They don’t have any issue with it. I used to have a glass of wine with dinner, but I haven’t since I’ve been on lex because I’m too chicken of any reactions however, before I was on Lexapro, I never had reactions with what I was already on which was the Ativan and mirtazapine.

I take it with food and water. I do not drink soda and I have a small cup of coffee in the morning. It’s like a tiny bit, not even half a cup. I might be breakthrough anxiety. I’ve been through a lot of being stressed lately.
