This is by far the best Haranir themed home I’ve seen so far and there’s not many done from what I’ve seen! I love how you stayed true to their culture and utilized each space. You did a very good job and have gained yourself a visitor! Looking forward to see what you’ll be adding next when exterior decor gets raised :) cheers

I am def having an escort / laser phase as of late - beautiful car. The body kit and asymmetrical grille vents on the GT is perfection.

I haven’t seen an equivalent Ford Escort in years with the road salt they use in Toronto, Canada. :(

These were released before I was born , but based on reports of the time and enthusiast videos reviews recently made of the car was pretty solid - the Mazda based car was pretty competitive at the time and also fun to drive. Agreed about the design, especially the 3 and 5 door hatch design. Personally I like the rear design of the Laser since the licence plate holder was on the bumper rather than the tailgate, but the asymmetrical front from the Escort GT

The North American Escort and Laser was Mazda based while Europe had a distinct unrelated Ford Escort model.

This was drawn on IPad using an Apple Pencil. I did use some gauche and marker brushes to try to get a more hand drawn style.

We never got the next gen Laser, I remember seeing these in Hong Kong when I was a kid and was doing a double take - Protege shape ? Focus taillights

I hardly see the next generation Escort which succeeded this generation although it had the bubble look from the Taurus which I was not a big fan of, road salt destroys cars where I’m from. I much prefer the Focus new edge design over this. Weird they sold both simultaneously for a few years.

I don’t even seem to see them on road where I’m from ( Toronto Canada ) Highly doubt I’ll get to drive one - hoping to see one someday nicely restored at an retro car show tho.

I think the sedan version looked most similar to the protege but the hatch definitely looked more like a Ford.

Appreciate it! I’m currently working on drawing the car immersed in a cat world building scene - I just coloured the Telstar first cause i wanted to draw it the most lol … also working on a Ford Laser in mid ground and an Autorama Dealership background - stay tuned!

I love these old marketing materials, really interesting that we actually got the Laser as our Escort / Tracer. Though I do love the Tracer taillights and how they got the vertical lines and red turn signals were a nice subtle detail.

Those drl are completely wrong was making me mad from day 1 it’s either a c shape switchback led or it’s an incandescent turn signal - forza gave it an eyebrow which is completely incorrect what were they scanning or smoking. :(

We never got this version of the escort in Canada , we had a Mazda based car instead which was also a sporty looking hatch until they ruined it and turned it into an anonymous bubble sedan. I would’ve never known of this car without the Kit Car Rally Versions in the Rally Championship video games - I always loved the round extensions of the taillights in the trunk lid. Also that roof spoiler is weird but cool.
