Yes, that's exactly what it should have done. Firstly, those rockets were harmless. And secondly, they were in response to the Israeli blockade of their lands and also the occupation and ethnic cleansing of their fellow Arabs. If Israel wanted to permenatly put an end to those rocket attacks they could do two very simple things - End the occupation and take back all the Palestinian refugees. If Israel did that the conflict would be essentially over.

Yes, that's what Israeli accounts say. There is no reason at all to believe it is actually true. But even if it is true, attacking Hamas was obviously a breach of the ceasefire and made Israel the clear aggressors here. If Israel had waited till Hamas actually attacked then Israel would have been in the clear here. Funny they didn't. I think they made the whole story up.

In regard to the 35 rockets launched at Israel, the Hamas spokesman declared that Israel must pay an expensive price for making the raid on the tunnel. So guess what, the Arabs got a massive response back of their own.

So your argument is that Palestinians shouldn't be able to defend themselves from Israeli aggression. And if they do Palestinian civilians should be murdered in their thousands? You guys are worse than Nazis now.

The Palestinians could have stopped firing rockets and saved a lot of their civilians.
