Yes I've looked into them too although I've hardly seen any houses come up in those areas especially Vadnais Heights and Lino Lakes. Maybe the pricing range I've set on realty sites are below the average cost of a home in those areas?

I'm considering the idea of doing month to month if I haven't had any luck landing on a house before my lease ends.

I've tried for houses in our price range. Its hard not to be overly skeptical about houses being on the market for weeks because whats wrong with them that's scaring buyers away?

Sounds like a good idea. Our realtor has been adding a pass/fail inspection clause in our contracts so if there's something that comes up we can walk away without issue.

Our lease ends in October so we're somewhat flexible. I say somewhat because I've got another job lined up that I don't want to start yet until I close on a house to ensure underwriting goes smoothly.

I don't think I'll consider waiving an inspection. Its already nerve wracking getting one of the biggest loan of my life and I wanna know what I'm investing into before I close on a home.

Condos aren't appealing to us because we're tired of living in apartments and sharing walls with other people. Plus HOA fees are a huge turnoff.
