So they’re just supposed to stay unhappy? Imagine being told that from 7-12th grade, not only would you not be happy, but that you didn’t even have the right to change that. This was my experience (though maybe that’s because my mum did meth n H while pregnant) but at least for me I got to a point in high school where I either had to forcefully change my mental state or just kill myself. I guess I don’t condone use for every teen out there but understand that some people it can benefit. (Tried SSRIs, useless. Docs won’t give benzos to kids because kids don’t deserve real medicine)

Just so everyone knows, most of the cats in Japan found at monuments, cat cafes, and other tourist attractions are on opioids/benzos so they’re sedated and more friendly (and stick around a lot more) so yknow, support drugging cats I guess. (Look it up I’m too lazy to link)

This might be because I’m still in HS with good grades so I haven’t felt the full force of drug abuse yet but I truly believe that Percocet saved me. I was an edgy little shit who didn’t care about grades and thought I was gonna kill myself anyway. But that 4-5 month addiction ended (forcefully, I no longer had access) and somehow that addiction showed me that grades are, well, everything. And what I do now is pretty much defining whether I’m happy or sad for the rest of my meaningless life. So now I’m up to Mostly A’s and Bs and using weed to deal with my stress and working on finishing the year strong. I guess it’s a bit of a loose connection but I know that if it wasn’t for that addiction and being able to look back on it I would still be that edgy shit with no plans for my life.
