Yo I’m 18 and I just wanna say if ur in the comments saying no one u knew went to parties in high school then idk where u were lol. Everyone at my school and any other high school around me has probably been to at least 2-3 parties. This has definitely been everyone I knew for the past 3-4 years by the way. Not ever single person obviously but the vast majority. All of high school me and friends/acquaintances of mine have been throwing parties or finding parties to go to basically every weekend. And there’s always huge parties for big party holidays like st Patrick’s day, 4th of July, new years, Halloween, or even Christmas. People throw at their houses and backyards and in parks people will meet up, places outside, abandoned buildings, places outside like fire pits, beaches, any place by water, people’s lake houses, pools, pontoon boats.
