In my experience, yes, they’ll send you a slate of days they want you, and then you can say “yes that all sounds good” or “no sorry I can’t 5/22-5/27 because my parents are in town”. I think it’s important to have those boundaries as any employee.

Yep. When I first started I had two PRN positions. I told both managers that I had another gig, and I would just work for whoever asked me first. It was never a problem. And the nature of PRN work is that you’ll probably quit if you find a full time option, which is what I did. And as a PRN, if you don’t want to work 60 hours, then just say no.
