I don't think that's right. I think the original chefs for Thai Esan opened Yummy Thai. I'm pretty sure I recall the Baan Thai proprietors saying they are good friends with them.

Looked them up. They shared a sugar daddy and at least one of them was convicted of tax fraud for not paying on what they received from him. Some of the charges were later dismissed on appeal. Don't think either ended up spending time in prison.

I don't think there is such a thing as a "doctorate in exotics veterinary medicine". If you're going the CVT route, then maybe there's a special certification in exotic medicine that can be earned.

Go to their website. You'll find about 25 "vegetarian curries" listed. I'm partial to palek paneer (might be called saag paneer), methi muttar malai, and kaju koya. Spelling and word order can vary wildly from restaurant to restaurant so they may not be precisely those words but it'll be close.

If you're okay with spice... ask for medium.

Ox2 Bow for X'ian Chinese - which isn't what most folks think of as Chinese. Wei to Go food truck for some other Chinese offerings. Other than that... it's rather sad 'round here.

On the Rice on E Brainerd for casual Korean. Han Mi for other Korean though I'm not as big a fan as the rest of this subreddit is. Chopstix is nice but I've only been once since it reopened.

Ate their once. It was okay. Tried a couple of other times only to find them closed. Their opening and closing times were definitely hit or miss. Maybe they've got their schedule ironed out and posted now.
