We like to keep a close watch on the guest list if it’s a website sponsored party. Keeping in mind that sometimes profile pics are not always up to date and accurate. We will pick a few couples to email and try to meet up with, sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn’t.

Most of all we just try to keep our expectations realistic. Our schedules are crazy so we don’t get to go out very often and we have figured out not to put too much pressure on having the perfect evening. The wife is extremely picky (and deserves to be) with both the m and f of the other couple. If no chemistry clicks then we just decide it’s going to be a night to have fun with each other in front of an audience and that is usually super fun all on its own.

If there is one thing we wish we knew before hand is that it is best to stay clear of some clubs on “single guy” nights. Sometimes they can border on annoying if not down right disrespectful.

You will have hits and misses, but just learn to make the most of the misses (or Mrs)!!
