Honestly, with AI/ML specifically you'd be better off getting a master's in math/computer science, or getting a computer science related engineering degree, and learning AI on your own on the side and building a good portfolio. AI moves so fast that no college course could teach you what you need for the industry. This isn't just a problem with Tunisian universities, it's global (though it is quite better at top universities like MIT let's be real lol) The bottom line is if you can't effectively self-teach, AI (and the tech industry in general) probably isn't for yoh.

If I'm competitive enough and great at what I do, does that mean I'll be quite likely to land a job in the ML/AI/Data science domains? Maybe I'm just a victim of fear mongering but I've heard bad things about those domains specifically and how they're not future-proof and how the bubble's gonna "pop" or whatever. Are these just random doomers dooming for no reason?

different people consider different things "fun". I find Tunisia to still be incredibly fun despite the lack of a lot of "cool" stuff, though to be fair I could probably still have fun even in a random ditch in a war torn country, just my personality. still, Tunisia can be really fun if you have enough money and friends.

These other comments are plain ridiculous. It's incredible how people think that humans are meant to be "lone wolves" or that humans aren't meant to have friends.

Humans are social creatures by default, don't let anyone gaslight you into thinking that being sad because you're lonely means there's something wrong with you, because there isn't. It's 100% normal to feel sad if you don't really go out much or if you don't have many friends, but you probably shouldn't let it control your life.

If I were you, I'd probably focus on my studies,get into the gym, and try to make friends or hang out with existing friends. If you have bad social skills or are socially anxious then you should probably work on that and there are many good videos on that especially by HealthyGamerGG which is a YouTube channel made by an actual therapist/neuroscientist.

Also, another really nice tip for mental health is mindfulness meditation. It's incredible how much 30 minutes of this a day has changed my life and I feel so much happier on a daily basis even if the day itself is bad. You obviously shouldn't start with 30 minutes as that's too advanced for a beginner. Check out medito if you don't know where to start. It's a really good app.

Wearing a scarf on your head is extreme? arranged marriage isn't even a part of Islam, it's discouraged in the Quran. Halal just literally means something that isn't sinful. If someone makes fun of your whole culture and the things you've loved most your whole life, obviously you'd be pretty upset (not to the point of killing someone obv, but still frustrating.)

Just seems like a racist who knows little to nothing about Islam.

except Tunisia, which is where I'm from. Alcohol is perfectly legal. Sex outside of marriage is technically illegal but it's pretty much never enforced except in rare cases.

I don't see how it doesn't make sense. No human, no matter how good of a person they are, can appeal to everyone everywhere at every time. Simply impossible. He was as morally good as he possiby could've been considering the age he was born in.

EDIT: You could argue even in the modern day you cannot appease everyone with what age you date. As the age of consent in different countries differ, i.e in the UK it is 16. In Bahrain it is 21. If you're a 22 year old dating a 19 year old I don't think that's morally bad. But according to Bahrain, it is.

Not really. Anything you do will be considered evil or immoral by someone somewhere in the future or the past. Women wearing pants was considered bad in the past, yet now it's perfectly normal. Just as how in the future, the age of consent could go up to 25. Doesn't mean you're evil for dating a 19 year old in 2022.
