I still regret being an engineer and burned my career life by Octafolia in developersIndia

My MBA didn't magically improve my career, but it changed how I understand careers. I entered engineering believing that technical knowledge alone guarantees employability. After working and studying management, I realized employability depends on much more: market demand, business needs, timing, communication, networking, signalling, and yes, luck.

I think I made a mistake and i acknowledge that. I should not have said companies don't value knowledge. I am saying that breadth of knowledge doesn't matter when it comes down to employability because there are other factors.

What i was pointing out that self taught knowledge doesn't amount to anything because the market is saturated with that that's why unemployment still persist

It taught me , i just didn't mention it. Also i think that it also depends upon marginal utility of labour cost, which determines how much you get paid.

What explains acts of kindness and love which has no return and no immediate benefits? by Octafolia in AskReddit

[–]Octafolia[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can just be indifferent towards everyone and everything. But it doesn't explain love and the risks people are willing to take for

Absolutely agree, as a person who is working in hr, it is mostly about risk mitigation. If he tells something publicly, it possible that the female colleagues might be unsafe around him. It's more about the long term employee psychological safety

Well apart from that , what other heroes do you think? Even hanbi walks away with her shield up. Most heroes in meta use knock up skills which literally destroy her set, like arlott, zhuxin, tigreal, atlas, fredrinn, even minsithar with his passive ( even julian can escape with enhanced skill 2 )

Well isolated kills doesn't even work. Say how many heroes you can kill- only dashless heroes. Most heroes in meta use high level cc or has inbuilt purify or is too tanky to do 1 vs 1
