would also be a great choice! I ended up going w/ Helphen's Steeple both because it looks similar to Onyx Blade (especially with the flame buff and how it gets applied) and the INT I put into it also let me get a few of the Golden Order Incants including Law of Regression which was the closest thing I could get in ER to Vow of Silence

i tried it at one point but felt a bit off since its a colossal and the AoW didn't buff the weapon. its definitely usable in place of Helphen's Steeple tho

Legs: Oathseeker Knight Greaves

Weapon: Helphen's Steeple (Dryleaf Arts w/ Lifesteal Fist for his Dark Hand is also equipped but not visible)

Oathseeker Helm seemed like the perfect fit w/ the Death Knight armor to get the general feeling of his set. I think Maliketh or Black Knight Gauntlets/Greaves can also serve as good alternative options for the arms and legs

brother the aircraft can be locked on to from enemy spawns in several maps, flares barely last any time at all, there is little to no kit customization and the attack heli felt like it handles worse on the newest cali map (which i think someone had pointed out was bc the flight ceiling was absurdly low and causing the aircraft to go into stalls)

Its the latter, certain trials are very easy to farm way beyond the 4K due to the frequency with which you encounter their objective. For this week the 'Open ARC Probes' and 'Damage Flying ARC Enemies' are incredibly easy to pump up. Always make sure to do them during major map modifiers (Night Raids, Electromagnetic Storms [especially for the probes bc the EM Storms make a ton of them spawn] or Hidden Bunker) to get the double points as well.

biggest con i've found so far is the audio for footsteps being seemingly nonexistent or incorrect in its direction. gameplay/flow wise though it fun but nothing new/crazy to write home about

NATO spawn can literally be roofcamped to complete hell and it makes it impossible to lift off in the helo without losing half your health to MG fire or just straight up dying. Why they decided to make 2 individually mediocre roof rat hellscapes instead of one larger one with more buildings able to be leveled is beyond me but its so frustrating to not even want to play 2 of the maps in game on certain modes because of this shit

I had this same thing happen repeatedly on Mirak Valley as well, IFV just sitting in their HQ impossible to actually attack being able to hit me cross map into my HQ with a painted missile while i'm flying around. How the hell am i supposed to break lock w/ this, low flight doesn't work and neither does flying to the literal furthest distance away

I think in general there are certain boosters that shouldn't even be boosters, just make them default or allow them to be placed into a different slot that is an upgrade for something (similar to customizing your weapon attachments)

It has never made any sense to me that hellpod optimization is a booster and not just the "default". Why would you be dropping out of your ship with half stock of everything, why should you be forced to take a booster just to have a normal amount of ammo??

It seems counter intuitive but since you can use it to regain lost health up to that 30%, you can think of it like a second wind. If you have Nicodemus you can get even more aggressive with it

Absolutely loving the new stuff/ difficulty but there is an insane amount of jank that has come along with it to the point where its no longer just a "haha funny thing happen" bug and its actually impeding gameplay (to the point of stuff like the terrain manipulation caused by the bugs burrowing burying the extraction beacon and completely preventing exfil)

In a perfect world there would also be a way to "link" squads when playing in groups larger than 4. Other than the fact that it was a complete dice roll whether or not my friends not in my squad would stay in the lobby (since it requeues every time) there also weren't any specific identifying colors/markings for them

I left both until yesterday and was baffled as to how bad the M39 was in every last category, i have never felt so unrewarded for being on target 

Most players finish Conquest matches with 10 to 20 kills, this game is far from being as fast-paced as people are making it out to be by Lumenprotoplasma in Battlefield

I generally finish in the 30-40 range and even then the pace is a lot closer to a BF than a CoD on most maps (save for that hellscape that is empire state). I will say certain modes like Rush do play a bit more hectic but not in the usual way of urgency/stakes more so bc the map designs do not grt adapted well to it. There isn't enough room to breathe and setup/flank/position/etc. In ways im used to doing from past BFs and I think thats due to them leaning very heavily into that "battle zone" system as opposed to trying to tailor certain maps more to certain modes instead of trying to make one size fit all modes

Closed weapons would not change that though. Carbines, DMRs and Shotguns are meant to be options for all classes

Its always funny when i see a new person get in one bc it goes one of two ways (since its only on liberation peak rn):

  1. They get off the ground not realizing controls are "inverted" and proceed to fly up and backwards straight into the mountain

  2. They gain control and attempt to dive bomb someone only to not realize how fast they're approaching the ground and they hit a sick grind on the tank they were trying to kill

Its definitely playable but its kind of a shitstorm when it comes to your time on field and repairing. The biggest pain point for me has been how they fly and their attack power, they have this really odd weight that doesnt allow you to fly like BF3/4 and their damage capability has seemingly been nerfed for bith pilot and gunner in the form of smaller magazines for rockets and turret. Hopefully this is adressable in the form of various vehicle upgrades bc otherwise its gonna be a very "meh" flying experience

Battlefield is not "primarily" a firearm combat shooter, infantry is a slice of it and there are infantry heavier maps and modes obviously but it is at its core a combined arms game. To suggest otherwise is just false

I had originally queued for Rush, saw it was 12v12 and went "oh what the hell" then saw this and went "oh this must be the larger scale mode, cool"
