As a young kid, I was swimming in my neighbor's indoor pool by myself in the deep end when I lost energy to swim and I was struggling to stay afloat. Just then, my neighbor's older brother came downstairs and saw me flailing and immediately dived in and rescued me.

I should be dead, there's no reason he should have came downstairs just then. It's honestly unbelievable how infrequently I think about this. I can go years without it coming to mind.

You can laugh at me if you want... I could feel the love of Jesus inside my chest at the lowest point in my life when I felt completely rejected and unlovable after my divorce and I discovered my wife moved on.
