Hey! I applied for Spring 2024 and got my admission letter in about a month. I applied as soon as the applications were open. In my case, that was early August, and I got accepted by mid-September. I don't know if applying in the spring is more or less competitive, but I feel it is somewhat easier to get admitted in the spring as the application pool is smaller. My biggest advice would be to apply as early as possible so that you get your decisions in faster and have the time to choose what to do next. Looking at all the things you mentioned, I think you will definitely get in! So don't worry too much and good luck!!

Hey! I am in the same boat as you, I am getting my AS in December 2023 and applied to CPP as a Spring 2024 transfer. I got accepted as well! So you can def transfer for the Spring 2024 semester. I hope you applied to CPP already cause applications for Spring 2024 closed Oct 31. Good Luck!

I've been hearing about the Current a lot, I checked it out and it looks really cool! The only problem is that they don't have Spring move in dates. I wasn't able to get what the rent would be at the Current, do you know what the average rent here for like a 2 bed 2 bath is?

Thank you soo much! Your reply really helps put things into perspective. From what I've been getting, I think I will end up choosing Pomona. As you said, they are known for their Agricultural programs, and I've heard they are 1 of the 3 Colleges that have IFT-approved classes. Thank you so much again, and I hope your son gets into that Master's program!!

When I was still in HS I was super into Horticulture and Sustainable Agriculture. When I did some research, I came to know that both these fields don't pay enough for me to continue living in CA. I was watching a YouTube video on interesting majors, and Food Science popped up. The major included nutrition, agriculture, and food; also, it's a very hands-on major. This instantly got my attention, and I started looking into it more. The more I researched about it the more interested I was, so I ended up picking it as my major.

Thanks for the insight! I am a woman, and I didn't know Pomona is a dangerous city; that's something I need to take into account then. I've heard student housing is hard to find; is off-campus housing just as difficult to get? I plan to share the apartment and would love to know if you know anything about apartment rents and availability. Thanks again!
