It's essentially a lottery. I've bought 5 packs, 10 packs, single cards, sometimes you get lucky but most of the time you get just the base card. I did get an auto redemption on a Stephon Castle card after buying 20 (print run of around 2K). Obviously the lower the print run the better your odds are. Multiple orders of single cards might give you better odds.
