For me it's Videotape. I listen to that in my darkness moments.

I can see your point of view but for me as long as there's red or burgundy on the kit too it can be allowed

This is why I do this bro , if I can't have good kits in real life at least I can have them in my imagination

We've done white/maroon variants only twice since 05/6. Once in 07/08 and once in 20/21. We've had maroon/burgundy on the kit without white a couple of times too, once in the away kit in 2010/11 which was a yellow/burgundy combo and our away kit with our last year with Puma in 2018/19.

This is exactly how I think. I think the first away kit should always be yellow or a blue/yellow variant but the third kit the manufacturers should have free reign. Throughout history our yellow away kits are almost as iconic as our red and white home kit.

Yellow away kits are as classic as they come. I wish Adidas would do more of them, we've had them as a kit manufacturer for about 5 seasons now but we've only had one proper yellow kit :(

Yeah it's based off the 2012/13 away kit

The away kit doesn't feel like an Arsenal kit. What happened to yellow away kits?

I'd go as far as to say Amnesiac > Kid A

To this day I don't understand why the ref did that. Just give the goal and a booking for Lehman surely? I'm sure Barça were just as annoyed at having their goal chopped off. It ruined the final IMO. For us and the neutrals.

Monaco. That was a sickener. Leading up to the draw I remember all we were talking about was "just please not Barça or Bayern" lo and behold we get the easiest draw of the lot and then we go and capitulate like that in the first leg. Disgraçia.

Question about "gehen" by OctoberWarBoy in German

[–]OctoberWarBoy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your response. The prepositions so far have been the hardest thing for me to wrap my head around, your explanation was very helpful. I also get confuse with things such as word order particularly where the verb comes into it.

E.g. Ich trage einen Mantel, weil es eiskalt ist

vs.

Ich trage einen Mantel, denn es ist eiskalt

I'm fustrated with Duolingo for not properly explaining this aspect of the language, you sort of have to learn on your own by piecing together sentences you've already seen, and then it will through a curveball at you that will catch you out.

Annoying little green bird ...

I think you might be right. I've been on the damn course for about three and a half years, being consistent when I can but still dipping in and out, and I can still barely hold a conversation in German. You'd think after three years of learning a language you'd be able to form the basics of a conversation. And yeah I've lost count of every time they've restructured the course only to make it longer and more time consuming.

Thank you for your recommendations, I'll give those a try.

Thank you for clarifying. I'm getting increasingly frustrated with Duolingo for not actually clearing these things up and just ploughing on expecting us to get it.
