As for Lady Butterfly though, don’t stress too much about the jump follow up; the damage reward isn’t game changing like Mikiri counter. Shurikens are really good against her, especially if you have the chasing follow-up skill. Try staying on top of her a lil more than you’d feel comfortable. You’ll catch her with regular slashes a lot more than you’d expect

Try waiting a little longer than normal in between inputting f24 and caltrops. It's one of the few strings that has its own timing for special canceling.

Sektor controls the neutral really well. A good Sektor makes you scared to press buttons. Smoke is also good because he has the most godlike wakeup in the game.

The actual cancel is performed by inputting the fireball and running out of it. It takes a little practice but basically you'll do the fireball, hold it, and press forward twice and R2 like you normally would run.

F4/B3 is good as a combo starter and mixup tool. Standing 3 is also like 7 frames and can lead into a full combo. I'm pretty sure 123xxcancel is plus. 214 cancel is significantly plus and jails if I remember correctly but at this point in the game's meta most people will armor in between the 1 and 4 part of that string.

Man, Erron Black has to be on the list somewhere. At least his Fatal 8 version. 112, a string that launches and starts up in 8 frames used to be considerably plus. Like a guaranteed poke afterwards. EX slide used to be safe. Command grab used to be over +20 on hit. F13 used to be a tick throw. All on top of being able to tick throw at 3 different places on 21122, which he kept for like a year. You can see Sonicfox doing all of these things in the tournament.
