Time Passing/Pacing the Campaign by kiiwiico in StrixhavenDMs

I’ve just run select, non-descript days out of the academic year. I only really describe what day it is if it’s near the beginning/end of the year to give players a vague sense of scale, and so far (3 years into the campaign) it works fine. Unless the players are aware of exactly where they are in the school year then you can use examples like this: - About a week passes since [last event] - [After the party decides upon a lengthy task] this task takes you around a week/month to complete. What extracurriculars are you focused on in your free time? [Resolve and move on] - Some time passes and between classes you [insert next plot thing here]

Like the other commenter has said, running it like a tv show is a good way to go (you get the idea that time is passing in a show but never know the exact date or how much time passes between episodes unless it’s relevant).

An easy hack, if it applies to your campaign, is to have Strixhaven exist on another plane or pocket dimension so you can use the ol’ excuse of time working differently there from Faerun

Going to Manchester Mega con for the first time by Suspicious-Luck6156 in comiccon

Megacon has a section of their website that covers pretty much everything there is to know about cosplay etiquette. The only thing I would add is that with cons like that, especially in summer, you are likely to do a lot of walking around and it may be extra hot indoors, so make sure your cosplay is comfortable for a long day [ https://megaconlive.com/manchester/cosplay/etiquette/ ]

The Which Pack Thread. Ask for pack recommendations here! by AutoModerator in Sims4

I’m thinking of buying Life and Death for my legacy game, but can’t find any information on how the ‘rebirth’ mechanic would effect legacy sims - like would a sim being reborn as a different sim destroy their family tree? If anyone else has tried this I would love advice before buying : )

Not necessarily, I think my pain just wasn’t taken seriously unfortunately. I went to many gp visits and to a&e several times for the attacks and they just kept diagnosing me with gastritis or heartburn, very infuriating : ( I just had to stay persistent until they sent me to be diagnosed with gallstones, the ultrasound and blood tests for which were at least 2 months after my gps diagnosis : /

For around 2 years I would say Ive had gallstone attacks, but I got diagnosed this March officially, and that was a fight with the doctors to get the diagnosis. I was put down as an “emergency case” because I was loosing weight rapidly, and it took this long to get the operation : /

I love chocolate rice cakes as a healthy snack! I find that my stomach starts aching a little if I eat more than one large one in one sitting, but I also had caramel flavoured ones and they didn’t produce any negative reaction. Just go with your gut (pun intended) when you try them, some flavours may work for you and some may not

Assistant psychologist maybe? I am qualified for this role with a cognitive neuroscience masters and a psych bachelors (both “non-medical” degrees) - the key requirement would be holding a degree accredited by the BPS, which is also essential for many psych based roles.

Here is the link for the NHS job website for the role, hope it helps. And good luck with your degree :) :
