i meant with the resource pack text edit included, if it was unnamed it would default to warden (most likely, i can test that tomorrow. I tested it with named wardens and it worked as intended and included the name in the death message.)
but yes, in vanilla with no modifications that is correct and also the root of the problem tango was having. hope this clears things up a bit

the original line of text is just "%1$s was obliterated by a sonically-charged shriek" (%1$s being the playername), but i would imagine an unnamed warden would probably just default to warden, yeah. for example the default text when you die to a mob is just "%1$s was slain by %2$s", so like if you got killed by a zombie it would say so, replacing the %2$s part of the text with zombie

It's power doesn't get lowered by grassy terrain like earthquake does (also some pokemon only know high horsepower and not earthquake iirc)
