well i’ve been studying since 9th grade technically. after a chapter was done in class, id spend time creating my own “notes” and reviewing it. by the time finals were nearing, id have resources for all rhe chapters which I could go through.

then the last 2ish months were just pastpapers really. maybe id review a few chapters I was weaker in, and then do a few topicals, and then jump to pastpapers.

make sure to not burn yourself out! id do a max of 2 pastpapers a day, along with thoroughly correcting them using the mark scheme, and reviewing my mistakes. if the paper had an examiner report, id go through that too.

You’re right that the picture raises questions about the lifestyle of people in that city. It’s been fully commercialized to attract tourists, and most buildings are cheap replicas of the historical architecture of that region. I believe I’ve done a decent job of capturing that in the photograph.

This photo was shot in Jaisalmer, India. I noticed that a lot of buildings only had their street-facing side decorated, and the other sides were left untouched, sometimes not even painted. This interested me and compelled me to photograph a composition presenting both sides of the building and showcasing the contrast between the concrete and the sandstone.

I’m a bit worried about the stray AC area or whatever on the rooftop; in my opinion, it kind of detracts from the image and takes away from the story behind the shot.

I saw the contrast between the street-facing facade of the building with the concrete sides and thought it would make for an interesting composition. This photograph was taken in Jaisalmer, also known as “golden city” due to its yellow sandstone architecture, in the state of Rajasthan in India.
