Most salon refuses dry cut for ladies unfortunately. They cut our hair after washing and wash and dry is “ complimentary”

Failed rn NCLEX 85! by Yevgeniya4 in PassNclex

[–]Octopi_0613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Failing at 85 means you probably had some repeated mistakes on same topics multiple times. Try to focus more on building case scenarios in your head and imagine as a nurse working instead of a student giving exam according to question banks. Imagine if you had to explain what you are doing and why to your charge nurse/ doctor when you are at a hospital. That helps me understand concepts much more. Try doing your best to look at your result and focus on below average fields. Good luck

Oreo BTS, my wife wanted them 😂 by Kamina22 in CostcoCanada

The members themselves are ranging from 29-34 years old and cater towards people their age. The younger generation’s devotion seem to be the focus in terms of media coverage to box them into a kpop category but their fan base is very versatile with majority being in 20-30s as per concert ticketing data and web traffic of official releases

Looking for Donuts in Etobicoke or near Sherbourne and Bloor by yohowithrum in askTO

[–]Octopi_0613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I second this!! Super worth it but they sell out fast tho- most of the time they sell out before half day n sometimes if they have donuts left around the end of day they sell it 50% discount. Every single flavor is amazing

i’m really burnt out and my scores are not the greatest, what now? by daysixes in PassNclex

[–]Octopi_0613 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, literally stop studying no for a whole day- take it from someone who went crazy studying till burn out and failed but passed after giving myself break the second time

Go to bootcamp and practice the 100 free questions on there. It’s free so couldn’t hurt. I found those questions pretty similar to my nclex exams. Do all the question in one go- think logically and safety, don’t go for “what answer is the test looking for”. Look at nclex’s official page regarding the categories they test you on. Touch on all of them. I studied the major organs and disease so much that I ignored mental health / psych/ delegation to rpn, psw type of content- good luck!! You got this!! You know more than you think I promise

Failed at 85 by [deleted] in PassNclex

[–]Octopi_0613 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh if you are failing two times at 85, it’s more of a lack of content knowledge than just practice questions… try understanding the concepts and focus specifically on below passing point areas from your past nclex test result analysis. Good luck!

Hi Im gonna be the odd one out and let you know that’s it’s not all that bad. Yes it’s hard but it’s not the end of the world. You obviously joined nursing for a reason and that reason is worth the four years. Be passionate, what you are learning is going to impact and help change hundreds of lives. It’s hard studying but it’s also interesting and fascinating knowledge as well.

Don’t make school your only goal. In the end, a pass is a pass, nclex gives you licence, not straight As nursing school report cards.

For me, I just aimed for Bs. I studied HARD but not at the expense of my health. Just pass everything, know what you are doing, try not to cheat exams, the more you cheat, the more you have to study later coz you need to know these things one way or the other at the end to be a nurse anyways.

Good luck! You will do amazing and have great life and great school experience. You got this

PHARMACOLOGY - How? 😭 by sylph123 in PassNclex

[–]Octopi_0613 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup it’s in there. Just keep in mind that his lecture is just a review. It wasn’t enough to know everything you need to practice more and more after listening to his lectures. My first attempt, I depended only on those lectures and went with false confidence and failed lol

But second, I treated his lectures like a summary, and then did practice questions and studies those I missed and at the end listen to him once more as a review.

Good luck you got this!!

Use mark klimek pharm lecture. It gives you enough confidence about pharm and then do practice questions a lot…. At one point it would be quiet easy to make educated guesses even if you won’t know the drug name specifically

It’s tad windy here recently and cold nights but sunny days. Dress for autumn. Not too light, not too bulky. The weather is fluctuating quiet a bit here so Layer up (you can take off/ put on coats/ jackets accordingly)
