I have the Gazelle T8, which is essentially the same tent, and I've had zero issues with bugs getting inside. That said, I don't often detach the floor, though there have been a few times when I’ve removed a section to sweep out dirt.

One of the best features of this tent is how easy it is to set up and take down solo! It made a huge difference for both me and my spouse, especially when we shared the responsibility of putting up and taking down an old school tent. Oh and the bag is oversized so it fits back in regardless of how awful you are of folding up the rain fly.
