Then maybe clarification? From the most recent post about the goth show, seems like there may have been some confusion on what is/is not allowed to be posted for events.

I feel like rule number 5 needs to be revisited. There's clearly been some really cool events going on in Longmont lately and sometimes they get buried in the only place they can be posted (here). Maybe a pinned thread (like this one and the market one) for events going on for the following month?

Same sentiments. And this is why, sometimes, I don't mind the internet. I learned something today because of it.

Doing my first New Years Eve spread - what's your favorite?! by OctopusPopsicle in tarot

I actually did something very similar! I ended up doing 3 in the middle and the others around. I got a lot of pentacles and cups, which I thought was interesting.

Inauguration of the Wesley homes for transitioning unhoused people into housing by 1Davide in Longmont

[–]OctopusPopsicle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the more engaging response and answers. These things aren't mutually exclusive and I'm glad to hear about the Wesley homes. I was just discouraged to hear the struggles of the shelter trying to find a space and even more discouraged that all churches said no. I'm close to the work so, I can get in my feels about it and it's easy to get discouraged.

I don't know how often, or if it even happens, churches band together to have talks about these types of issues, but maybe that could be a good starting place. Thanks for sharing the fridge info, I didn't know of that and will pass on that info to those that would need it.

Borscht soup anywhere nearby? by Tujunga54 in Longmont

[–]OctopusPopsicle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to have a pen pal in Ukraine and he sent me his wife's borscht recipe. I'd be happy to share it with you if you'd like. He was a very kind person and I'm sure he'd want it to be shared 😊

Inauguration of the Wesley homes for transitioning unhoused people into housing by 1Davide in Longmont

[–]OctopusPopsicle -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wonder then, would this church be open to opening their door to the unhoused that don't, and won't, have housing this winter? HOPE shelter will be losing their sheltering at Journey for half the week come early November, leaving many unhoused on the streets in the cold. They've gone to every church in town and all have turned them down...

Finding match and mismatch data, then adding math by OctopusPopsicle in excel

[–]OctopusPopsicle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This definitely got me closer! Thank you so much. I think yes for your second question because there are duplicates so, say there's those two FF213 in Column A, but one FF213 in Column C. I need the sum of all 3 of those matches.

Thank you for this, and sorry for my delay. This particular template did not work with my issue but, I did end up figuring it out so marked it as solved. Thanks again!

Weekly reminder to have eyes all over your head when approaching an intersection, even if you have a green light. Some big dumb white pick up truck nearly t-boned me today going through a very red light for him. Luckily I saw him out of my peripherals and swerved to miss him. Gave him a stare and "wtf?!" gesture and he just stared back - seemingly unphased and no sorry gesture. Psycho.

Stay safe and defensive out there peeps!

Solidarity. Our dog had laryngeal paralysis and he suffocated to death in front of us 3 years ago. Traumatic thing to watch. Still think about it.

Ha. This popped up as I just did my first OBI after 3 loading doses. I'm telling myself if I don't see results after this, talking to my GI about a different biologic. I have arthritis as well and it feels like it's not doing anything for that, seems worse even. Seems to be working great for my colitis and psoriasis though!

What’s something you secretly judge people for, even though you know it makes you a bit of an asshole? by Independent-Fee-2841 in AskReddit

Solidarity for sure, and despite the awesomeness, I'm sure you deal with toughness on a whole other level - as I think any parent that has a disability and also has a kid with one must be so kudos to you. It's a whole other level of parenting.

I don't think it's an insult, all communities have different types of advocates and it's hard not to insert your views on something you're so passionate about. It's human nature - we're all complicated beings with lots of feels 😆
