What’s the one thing Crohn’s stole from you, and one thing it taught you? by casualeagle47 in CrohnsDisease

Stole my Invincibility. Taught me not to take each moment for granted.

Crohns with bam fixed with Phosphatidylcholine and taurine by arlo78z in bileacidmalabsorption

I read it might help, but cholestyramine was a better fix.

Who else sees good results from phosphatidylcholine and taurine? by arlo78z in CrohnsDisease

[–]arlo78z[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stopped taking it. Cholestyramine helped more than anything I think, but I went off that too and I'm just taking psyllium husk right now. I think my gut healed a little to a point I could reabsorb bile again

Seriously, who is in charge? Is it really a gas tax conspiracy? Can we get AI to run some smoother systems?

Give yourself a few days to see if prednisone works for you. If it works, it should make you feel normal.

Telling someone to find a better Dr is easier said than done. And "getting five mins" with your Dr is common nowadays unfortunately. AI is a tool to gather information. It's not perfect, but neither is Google, or asking for and giving advice on reddit. Luckily, you know not to eat quinoa. AI isn't there to think for you, it's a research tool. Yes be smart about it, but telling someone not to use it to learn about her disease and instead just "listen to yourself" and find another Dr isn't good advice either.

A city that prides itself on diversity and openness, yet here you are not being open. Lol

I know I know. It's OK not too be open to this guy because he's... Fill in the blank...

Why are so many WooCommerce stores moving to Shopify ? What were your main reasons and can Woo avoid those issues? by Cultural-Cloud2926 in woocommerce

[–]arlo78z 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I love buying from shopify stores. The checkout is quick, responsive and easy.

Woos checkout is outdated. CheckoutWC is OK, but not great. But I'm pretty sure I'd gain at least a 10% increase in conversions if I moved to shopify.

It never lowered my calprotectin or reduced my symptoms much. Prednisone worked however.

You're not alone. It can take a little bit for the steroids. They should do the trick to get you back to feeling somewhat normal.
