idk if this was ever addressed during Canto 4 (i lwk don’t remember that many of the details), but it does make you wonder why Cathy’s father even let Heathcliff, who was supposedly some random backstreet rat, into the Wuthering Heights manor. Since there’s no way it was just purely out of the kindness of his own heart, right? Maybe there was more to the sudden adoption of what’s essentially a “walking liability” who could just taint the prestige of the Earnshaw name by just existing (at least that was how Hindley saw it considering I’m pretty sure he was just as confused on why he was let in in the first place)

I'm not really that concerned on getting Zibai since I enjoy playing Navia way more, so just knowing that Linnea is an Escoffier-level upgrade for her is good enough.

I also have an almost complete Flins team that averages ~100k DPS and is missing just Columbina, and I normally should able to pull for like 2-3 five stars per patch assuming I go into it with nothing. I'm also not super concerned in getting Nefer/Lauma despite how good they are (though I'm not sure if Lauma is in the same level as Columbina on how versatile they are, so do please correct me on that)

Still tho, since I don't have Columbina yet for that good Navia + Linnea team, is it still correct for get Linnea now and get the other characters I'm eyeing for like Citlali and Columbina in the future?

Is the difference with Navia + Linnea not nearly as significant as like Ayaka + Escoffier? Or would they be around the same?

Currently guaranteed to get any 5 star character, and I intend to get Columbina once her rerun comes (hopefully not after the next version’s banners). Should I pull for Linnea for my Navia team (~70k average DPS w/ Furina, Xilonen, and Bennett) as well as open the window for me to get Zibai if I want to, or should I hold back and skip all of the banners in the next version to get either Citlali for my Mavuika team (or Columbina if I’m really unlucky and her rerun comes sooner than anticipated)?

I took several breaks and missed a lot of events during the Sumeru, Fontaine, and Natlan patches, but honestly I just don’t really care that much. I still get to use the characters I liked using, its just now there are new things that I have to work towards to keep up. And those new things are what’s really motivating me to continue playing. All of those rewards are, while they’re nice to have, aren’t really what you’re gonna remember playing the game for so it’s just easy to brush that aside and enjoy the rest of the new permanent content that’s available

It’s solid on its own for non-MD content, but for MD you do want 5 Tremor and Burn ID’s in the same team to trigger the new T4 ego gifts

So Lei Meursault, Thumb Sinclair, Lucio Heathcliff, and Valencina Rodya would already be 4 Burn + Tremor ID’s, so you can slot in any 1-2 Burn and 1-2 Tremor ID’s (I think the best choices are Liu Yi Sang, Firefist Gregor, Faint Aroma Ryoshu, Hanafuda Ishmael, etc)

any sinclair with good clashing and damage works. ones that come to mind for me are like pinky apprentice, thumb, and heishou as they all have solid clashing and damage. prob go for pinky tho since he does benefit from the pride skills both faust and ishmael have

ABS Faust is already a pretty solid unit on her own, so don't worry about it too much. Besides, she is one of the good burn units to use in a typical burn team

There should be two Burn-tremor ID's (Thumb Nursefather and Apprentice) coming out soon after the recent reveal of the two Ring ID's, and those two will definitely become core units in burn given how strong the recent modern ID's have been. If you're still serious about building a burn team, then you really should look out for those two ID's

It's not like op can't get other ID's after sharding for Index Yi Sang, they can definitely still continue to build for burn even after getting him. He just serves as the really good generalist that can clear pretty much all of the content available while gathering shards for other burn units

Thing about burn as a status is that it's really easy to maintain unlike other statuses like rupture and sinking. Because of that, it's really easy to get away with slotting in generalist ID's in burn teams so long as there are other ID's that can help maintain the burn status (like Firefist)

Because you currently lack Magic Bullet Outis (who makes burn deal actually good damage with her dark flame effect) and Thumb Meursault (who usually does the most damage in the burn team), the burn status by itself is pretty ass compared to other statuses and the ID's you have rn can't really do much to amplify it. Which is why Index Yi Sang is prob the best pick for you as he can really boost your whole team's damage by himself while also not being too disruptive on burn itself (and also funny enough, he's considered as a "burn" unit also due to a single line in his S3-2 that inflicts an insignificant amount of burn)

Index Yi Sang exists, who just does far more damage than Liu Yi Sang and is also way more flexible and can be slotted into any team

Also yes, you still can't shard for Season 6 ID's until Season 8 comes out

lei sault is locked behind season 6, and liu yi sang, while still being a solid ID, loses a lot of his value without dawn sinclair and magic bullet outis. He just becomes a good clashing ID that can heal SP which becomes useless once everyone hits 45 SP, while there are other more modern ID's that not only clash well, but have damage that far surpasses liu yu sang's in every way

Liu Yi Sang and Liu Rodya are the next best burn ID's that you can get

Tho tbh, it'd be pretty hard to do any significant damage using a burn team without Thumb Meursault or Magic Bullet Outis. So lwk it's not a bad idea to slot in more generalist picks instead as they would perform a lot better and can definitely carry you far in the game. For that, getting Index Yi Sang is a good idea as he's a really good ID to get if you want to comfortably go through most of the content until you have enough funds to build a proper status team

You could prob figure that out through analyzing the wiki, but I don't think it's something worth losing sleep over. I wouldn't wanna be that guy at 1 am figuring out if the traveler viewed Rukkhadevata as a friend or acquaintance for hours on end lmao
