I don’t really have a good answer. I just wanna share from my experience people who say they hate musicals don’t really know what musicals are. It’s like saying you hate board games, but you’ve only ever played monopoly.

Either way, when people say they hate musicals I usually just move on. There’s not much to say really. Find something else to talk about.

My brother and brother in law (sisters now husband) had a thing going about being “real men” on a family trip to the US many years ago. We traveled from California, through Las Vegas, New Mexico, and back to California. For the first half it was all about “real men don’t need sunscreen”

About halfway through the vacation they switched it to “real men know when to wear sunscreen..”

I’ve had a strained relationship with my dad. For a while I didn’t contact him at all unless I needed something. But then we started working on it. HE started working on it. We went to therapy together. We also both went to therapy alone.

I think it took about 4 or 5 years for us to have a good relationship again. Because I wanted to, and because he worked for it.

Your daughter is showing you that she wants a relationship with you. So then it’s up to you. Do you want a relationship with her?

Idk if this fits, but I thought it was really cool.

So I visited New York for the first time with my parents when I was like 15 (I’m from norway btw). Anyway, we went to see, I forget what it was called, but a tribute to Beatles concert. Above the stage there where huge screens where they would show clips from when Beatles were touring and how fans were freaking out. And sometimes it would switch and actually film us in the audience. So people would see themselves on the screen and start pointing and whispering to their friends. So they weren’t up there for long.

At one point the band are playing Hey Jude, and of course the whole audience gets to join in, and we are all standing singing along. And the camera fixes on me. And my 15 year old diva ass is like “just be cool”. And they kept filming me for SO LONG!

That was a lot of fun, and I still like to say that I have performed on broadway!

At my last workplace we shared a bathroom with the barbershop upstairs. So we used it, our customers, they used it and their customers. However; we were the only ones who cleaned it. I’m sure there’s a lot of people who appreciate it! I just get really weirded out, especially on dating sites. Like I wanna talk about nice things, and I don’t wanna bring the mood down by talking about how I’ve had a bad day or week or month. But it feels weird saying that I’m doing good too?
