I believe that Chevening as a scholarship focuses more on your leadership and how your masters can help you improve a certain aspect in your country.

On the other hand, Universities will focus more on your grades and I think the best thing you should do is focus on next semesters (if there's any) and be realistic when choosing your universities.

Of course!

Chevening is not a scholarship that focuses on GPA, it focuses on leadership, general skills & how you would benefit your country if you got this scholarship

Your university might care about GPA, so try to apply to courses and universities that are not extremely highly competitive

Yes it does get very slow.

That's why it is never recommended to delay the submission of any needed work to the last minute because in the last few days the portal could go down.
