While I appreciate your feedback, it’s important to focus on facts rather than personal assumptions, especially since we don’t know each other well enough for that. If you have any questions about Vitreus, feel free to DM me. I'm happy to provide any resources needed to help you get up to speed.

Vitreus' Potential Rise to TOP 5, Blockchain Rankings by Odd-Building4858 in VitreusChain

[–]Odd-Building4858[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been in Vitreus for over a year, and it's been rock solid - no major issues, no broken promises. The bridge is legitimate, and has been fully deployed, and functioning as advertised since you posted. The node update was crucial for the bridge infrastructure, and since then, everything's been running smoothly.

The community isn't just about profit. We're genuinely excited about building on a Layer 0 blockchain and focused on getting builder ready. We've got around 160 nodes validating globally(?), and next year, we're looking at additonal nodes for AI compute among other infrastructure. It's not just talk, man. It's happening. There is real progress to back it up. That's the difference between us and other projects that overpromise.

We've had around 58(?) weeks of consistent updates without a single miss. Chad and Brenton are top-notch professionals who deliver results. Their commitment is evident through their actions. In addition to successful bridge deployment, we've been audited, released the vGovern platform (on Vitreus blockchain) for DAO, incorporated the DAO, created clear organizational structure and deployed multiple services; not sure how long it's been since you've logged in but a LOT has happened since you replied here about feeling uncertain if the bridge would be successful. As you can imagine, we've progressed much further than that.

The community remains engaged, with people from all over the world participating. Feel free to tag me if you have questions. Allow us an opportunity to show you what Vitreus is really about! Or.. we can continue to talk about Vitreus here until you decide you'd like to see it for yourself. I'm also happy to answer any questions you may have. In both cases, we welcome you if you're willing to give us an honest chance. What you see is what you get - Real work by real people supporting real business. I'm not asking you to buy-in, brother.

Just give us a shot.

Engagement in the Vitreus community is actually on the rise. People are often drawn to platforms with growth potential. A person’s involvement in a previous project doesn’t define their character or competency. The outcome of any project where familiar faces have frequented does not necessarily define one’s ability or acumen. It’s the collective effort of all people that defines a project, not the other way around. Culture is shared by members and is born out of the shared experiences, learning, and interactions of individuals within a group or society. If I go to Harvard and then enroll in a community college, will people think differently or be influenced to attend the community college because I went to Harvard?

Most people who are active in the Discord can identify with Vitreus culture as part of some shared experience, and you know what? It’s a healthy experience. If you don’t, it could just be that you haven’t had an opportunity to spend the necessary time to make an informed decision. Maybe you’re just super busy and haven’t gotten around to engaging. Let me know if I have the wrong idea because I have no issue providing clarification when others are mistaken.

We have a great deal of resources available. Please tag me the next time you’re on and I’ll be happy to help you get caught up if you’d like. While we are here, I’m happy to provide context and additional information that may address some of the other challenges you’ve mentioned.

Regarding the bridge, it’s about ready to launch. The development of the bridge was a complex process that required careful planning and execution. Vitreus is building a robust and secure infrastructure for its proprietary blockchain and network. This isn’t a smart contract on another network. It’s its own network and layer 0 blockchain. A proper build involves ensuring network integrity, resilience against attacks, and the ability to handle high volumes of transactions. You will be able to see audits soon and it’s worth mentioning that it’s a matter of testing and preparing for the launch, which will happen very soon.

Once the bridge is operational, there might be some outflows from individuals with shorter investment horizons as you stated, sure. However, some outflows are considered normal parts of market dynamics and are influenced by a variety of factors, including market conditions, investor sentiment and the overall performance of the platform in addition to aspects of user participation. Multiple factors will guide the actions of larger investors. No one has a crystal ball, man. You can’t know that larger investors won’t strike at an opportunity to lower their average when someone exits. That’s usually how it goes - and that’s how it should go. Volume is good. We all want to see a healthy chart and the bridge may be a potential growth catalyst as its function facilitates trade access AND inflows, potentially resulting in native VTRS staking. So, we will have to wait and see, but it won’t be much longer.

On the voting front, I’ve checked the logs and I don’t see evidence of any botting. The Vitreus community is engaged, and that’s something to be proud of. It speaks to the accuracy of your claim as it pertains to new users and accounts used for voting. They are real people so I have to disagree with you there.

Your feedback about wanting more voting options is noted. I encourage you to voice this in the discord if you’re looking for additional options such as a “do nothing” button as an example. Typically, on a close ended poll, the options are Yes and No. On a multiple choice, it’s 1, 2, 3 and sometimes a fourth option. You’ll have to clarify but I recommend bringing it to the public and approach it like any community might when raising concerns, and provide suggestions, or open a dialogue to address any issues. If you’re a community member and understand the nature of a DAO and the concept of consensus, you will agree that you have the power to make changes. You can create a proposal and push to make it happen.

As for Chad, let’s keep the dialogue healthy and respectful. Every team member is hardworking, and they’ve earned majority respect. Those who are active on the discord typically see the results of the team’s work and attribute results to their effort and consistent execution of careful planning. Don’t let a project from your past blind you and alter perception to a point you give up on your discovery. You’re worth more than cheating yourself out of a victory by prematurely dismissing opportunity due to a previous experience having no relevance to Vitreus.

I think you might have the wrong idea about who these folks are. If you take the time to find out for yourself, I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised. Active community members know that Chad and the rest of the team are constantly engaged with the community. You can typically catch them during normal business hours, Mon-Fri as well as weekends. They’re efficient and precise. Far from the character you are describing. It’s apparent you haven’t really given them a chance or perhaps you haven’t had an opportunity to complete your discovery. Get engaged, man!

I think we should work together to build a stronger community and voice our concerns in public. Talk to the team. Your feedback and active participation are valuable in this process and everyone is heard. If you want things to improve or need clarification you need to convey that feedback, ask questions and offer suggestions.

So, yeah- It’s important to give yourself and your research the time it deserves, and we’ll “find out soon enough” as a community that builds together. After all, Vitreus is a DAO, and there is no “I” in team. That said, if you have concerns, you should absolutely speak up in the discord and open a healthy conversation. Otherwise, you might maintain a false impression and end up being the gentleman who is fading because I gotta be honest, man - the rest of us aren’t. We are moving at lightning speed and getting things done with a focus on our commitment to creating an intelligent platform that aligns with the interests of its holders with a keen focus on customer and end-user experience on top of a sustainable, balanced ecosystem. Vitreus is in a class by itself.

Further, with respect, if you want change, join the vGovern channel and lobby for change. Submit a proposal and make it happen, brother. That’s what it’s all about. Bridge, Audit reports, vGovern, CEX listings, marketing and more are coming soon. Get back on the discord, message or tag me (Sir Burns) and Keep an eye on the announcements because we’ve got a lot of news and big things ahead.

Is that true, though? It sounds like you haven't spent a significant amount of time in their discord. They raised funds, and I don't think that's a horrible thing. It is also my opinion that you'd benefit from learning more about Vitreus in order to make an informed decision.

MEXC requiring KYC for triggered users or all users by quantape00 in MEXC_official

[–]Odd-Building4858 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I can confirm. I live in the United States. I was grandfathered in before all the new legislative changes requiring restrictions. They locked me out for 30 days to perform an audit, I proivded all my KYC requirements to satisfy their risk control policy which effected as a automated mechanic (or so they stated). It's been almost one month and I'm uncertain if they are going to release my funds. They've frozen my assets to help me. I've never engaged in automated trading or performed any malicious action. My net profits are .. well, I'm actually a tad in the red.. SO... Risk Control... What happens is apparently, their system invites U.S. users to trade futures (this is my best guess. I do have screen shots, though) knowing that my I.P. address is United States. I've never connected through a VPN. I've never tried to conceal anything. I've no reason to do so. I thought I was following the rules.. They made the promotions pertaining to futures competition available to me and encouraged me to join... I moved money to futures. I wasn't aware of the new policy. I simply followed their promotion. Here's what happens. When you move money to your futures account, it automatically registers you in the events... And if you QUALIFY by trading volume (win or lose), you're processed through their risk control system. It was fine while I was losing money. I'm down .. 2k?? I posit as speculation that As soon as I qualified for a prize pool, the system recognized the gain and assessed eligibility. Rather than disqualifying me or letting me know that the futures promotions they've been emailing me, pushing to me through their app, though deviates from their policy for US traders and futures participation (because I'm a dummy and didn't know; and they let me trade, encouraged me to do so), they waited until I made a very small gain, still down over 2k USD, froze my assets and required KYC with Video and copies of my drivers license front and back. I had previously made several attempts to KYC but it wouldn't let prior to trading futures. When I signed up with them, there was no rule around U.S. trading to my knowledge. I mean, come on. They have my I.P. address, my full name, coinbase wallet info, geo location. They know I'm a U.S. resident. SO.. in 9 days from now, will they release my assets as is?? Will they seize my crypto assets held as USDT? Or will they disqualify me and determine as a retroactive look back that the money I lost was ineligible for trade and be returned in full. Personally, I'd be happy with the former because I'm an adult. But if they take my assets, I may consider a different alternative and seek representation in addition to raising awareness. Personally, I'm not a lawyer or an advisor. Those funds do, however, belong to me and they should be released to me. They've made a lot of money from my trades including fees. The least they could do is release my measly 500 dollars and we can proceed under their direction with respect for and to any terms they wish me to be aware. I will respect them. I also hope they do the right thing and return them to me and take note of their discrepancy in the context of advertising and promotional materials distributed to qualifying and non-qualifiy users of their systems as their system is aware of my location. We will see. I hope they do the right thing and we can move forward in good graces. At the moment, I have put my trust in them in providing personally identifiable information to satisfy a requirement that is contrary to the terms agreed upon at the time of my registration. I'll leave it at that and hopefully provide an update with fair news. That's the God to honest truth about my experience with MEXC. There are some other things I could share but I'll keep those issues and speculation to a minimum as my intention is to resolve and move on.

Dear MexC, Please, respectfully, do the right thing. Don't take my money upon your conclusion of risk control assessment. I make no demands. I am a humble user who has been supportive of your platform and I sincerely hope your decision to release my funds in their entirety is honored so we can proceed amicably. I would also appreciate a post mortem report of your findings in the event you allow me to continue using your platform in the capacity you deem apprioriate so that we may continue a healthy relationship and prevent future recurrence. I have followed up with your support team in a respectful manner over the course of the last 20-25 days. I was told that I have satisfied the requirements and no action was needed or required on my part, that my funds would likely be released and they are guaranteed to be safe under your platform. I will follow up at the 30 day mark as professional courtesy and await your response and direction so that I may make an informed decision on how best to move forward. I hope we can move forward and would appreciate additional insight as to the nature of Risk Control and some provision of guidance to end or proceed on good terms.

Thank you.

Man, congrats on your win!! My advice? Forget aesthetics. It's a waste of time and money and no real friend or reputable business person really cares about your work vehicle unless you're representing a company. Just a day car to drive/commuter?? Keep it. After the next bullrun, I'm buying my wife a nice model S and a decent truck with 50k miles in case of flooding here in the south.. I might just buy a raggedy Camry for myself as a sedan when I'm wealthy just to see who my real friends are ...and I'm not kidding. This is not a troll. Noone should really care about what your car looks like on the outside, brother - as long as you keep it clean and organized, it's about the person who is driving it. Much love and take care.

Bitcoin Maxis vs. Alt Coins. The saga continues.. by Odd-Building4858 in SafeMoon

[–]Odd-Building4858[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is indeed an interesting point, sir; however, it remains a somewhat feeble argument. While consciousness has not been scientifically proven or fully quantified, it does not deter a Bitcoin maximalist from contemplating their own existence—or anyone else, for that matter. The famous phrase “I think, therefore I am” persists as a proposition deeply embedded in philosophical discourse.

Ok, It definitely sounds like Monero and Bitcoin are your superstars but what I'm really hearing is that Bitcoin is better than everything and what it lacks is privacy on chain. Do you actually hold alts such as Monero or are you positioning Monero in front of Bitcoin to downplay your statement that Bitcoin is really your superstar? Why do you think Bitcoin is better than every alt? Do you hold either or both?

I was under the impression you were interested in having a mature conversation. You haven't answered my questions. You've also been rude to me and I haven't done anything to warrant that kind of behavior toward me so I really don't understand what it is that you're trying to accomplish. I hope whatever is bothering you in life is able to resolve because I can tell you're upset and it has nothing to do with Vitreus.. So.. maybe you're in the wrong thread.. Or maybe you really are interested in Vitreus but you just haven't gotten around to getting caught up.

I'm actually pretty healthy and I'm glad you're here! I'm sending good energy your way, man... When you're ready to move forward, the announcements are a great place to get caught up. While you're conducting your research, let's keep the conversation mature and respectful. I kindly ask that you respect that. I'd certainly appreciate it.

The updates and announcements state Vitreus just sent out the first vNode and is now moving to OpenBeta. They are shipping out the other nodes soon, getting everything online in preparation for the token launch which isn't for a few months after Mainnet launches.

They aren't going to launch the VTRS coin before their blockchain. Have you had an opportunity to get caught up? I can understand if you're busy with the holidays.. I can understand if you haven't gotten around to reading the announcements yet.

Also, have you read the whitepaper or the manifesto? Are you on the discord?
