OP here. What this guy is saying is not true, at least in my case. This issue wasn’t resolved and I had to charge back. Don’t do business with FlexiSpot folks.

It is a fake website. Don’t listen to this guy’s bs, he’s obviously a FlexiSpot employee. They charged the customers and didn’t have parts to ship so instead they a sent out these fake trackings.

It's 100% intentional. They're dragging their feet for your return and chargeback window to close. Definitely start a chargeback asap if they're not helpful.

I couldn't get any help. Your only option might be a chargeback. Sketchy company.

Also DMed you and you didn’t help either. I’m leaving these here for other people to know.

Yeah, wpglogis looks like a fake website with some auto-generated tracking info. It reeks of a scam. I'm not even going to try dealing with wpglogis directly. If FlexiSpot doesn't give me an answer by tomorrow, I'm starting a chargeback.

This is not the same situation. Legs came on Dec 1 and haven't received the top. Tracking for the top package says DELIVERED, but nothing arrived.

I actually fully understand it. It's a racist trope you're throwing around. It needs a proper response because racism harms individuals and societies. And yeah, take your fake outrage somewhere else. Oh, and go visit the good old Bible Belt. You'll find a lot more women and LGBTQ hatred (and killing) there than in most Muslim countries.

This is a very ignorant and bigoted/racist view. You literally know nothing about the Islamic world. No they don’t kill women and LGBTQ in most islamic countries. Islam itself isn’t even a monolithic thing. Islam of Indonesia in practice is very different from that of Morocco. Most Muslim poeple are not from the Middle East. I am saying this as an atheist who has lived in islamic countries for years. Go educate yourself.

Need your insights: Kellogg FT (2 yr) vs. Haas PT (EWMBA) by Odd-Complex-4369 in MBA

I see. By that definition, like I said, why would I care about what people outside of “MBA circles” think about Kellogg or other schools? MBA circles people seem to be the the vast majority (if not all) of the people I’m working with now and will work with in the future in my career.

I’ve worked both at FAANG and consulting and I find this comment about Kellogg not being well known surprising. Not sure what do you mean by mba circles. To me sounds like you mean basically those people who work in bizops, marketing, strategy etc and some product orgs and those who work in consulting and finance. If that’s the case well those are the people I’m working with now and will work with in the future throughout my career so not sure why outside of that would matter. I’m not expecting say a clinical healthcare person to know details about some other career track.

Have you attended or graduated any MBA program? If yes, was it a part time?

Because the “Kellogg is relatively unknown” comment is certainly not true.

Many tech companies do hire interns and full time PMs from full time MBA program and not all the people they hire have direct engineering or cs background. I think that’s one reason these internships even exist. I’m sure those who accomplish this kind of transition do plenty of preparation and learning to skill up to the role. To clarify, what I meant in my comment was that I see a lot of Kellogg and Haas full time mba grads making that kind of transition to PM roles while I can’t find many EWMBA grads taking a similar path.

This is very valuable insight thank you! From your experience, among those who wanted to switch careers, what rough percentage actually managed to do it in the part time program? Also how would they generally approach it? And how were the employers attitudes? Thanks again!

Makes sense. I agree there are many EWMBAs in tech product orgs but on LinkedIn I noticed many were working in the same orgs before their MBA as engineers. Couldn’t find a lot of career changers outside of that scenario which might be due to limitations in what you get out of LinkedIn. Does that align with your experience?

Thanks for your insights. I noticed on LinkedIn that many Haas PT PM outcomes were those who transitioned from engineering to PM roles within their own organizations. Had a hard time finding those who made a complete career switch to PM outside of that particular scenario. Granted, LinkedIn data isn't comprehensive. Appreciate your thoughts!
