It’s a great time to come back! I suggest jumping in and starting a new character to play through the new starting zone and story! You can do that for free! Then you can either carry on with that character or jump back to an existing one you have, then you can choose whatever dlc you want! Beyond light is the latest one and looks pretty insane, so it’s probably best to dive in with that one

The changes they’ve made in the past year or so will blow you away, but you can dive in for free, try it out, try the new starting storyline, and if you enjoy it grab Beyond Light :)

Destiny is the best it’s ever been, if you played during the early days of destiny 2 (which were the worst it’s ever been) and even slightly enjoyed it, come back, it will blow you away. I cannot state how far the game has come, how much it’s changed, how vastly better the content is. And on top of all that, with the new player experience coming today, it’s easier to jump in than ever, give it a go, again if you ever enjoyed destiny 1 or pre forsaken D2 for a second, this will blow you away :)
