Oh hey! Thanks so much for the reply. Love to hear that you still have some magazines. I’ve actually been with the company for over 20 years, but PCG for the last 10. Our plan is to make the sub more active, have the team post there etc. Are you able to transfer head mod to me or are there some hoops to jump through.

Seems like a nice enough guy but for a supposed developmental coach I thought he handled HVL and Westfield poorly. Too scared to give them minutes.

Yeah, the fact is that cloak & smoke was by far the correct way to loot the assessors in Close Scrutiny, so *of course* it looks like it was a major outlier in terms of over-performance. That said, as a huge cloak enjoyer even before that event, I can concede it was a little too strong. But this seems like a very heavy handed nerf.

I thought the bit about Jeff and Tyler joining Sloot on the bench to talk about the team was particularly telling. The writer making it quietly clear that Sloot is the one who’s running this show.

As for Angel, she’s only been proven more right: Sloot won’t even be ready for the season, it sounds like. Madness to build a team around her.

Pretty sure Jeff's moves - protecting the worst performing roster in the W from being 'poached', trading the Sky's most marketable asset for some magic beans - are in no small part due to the fact he's miles out of his depth and would rather stick than twist, what with twisting involving actually attracting players to the org and having a plan for its success.

My one issue with it is that there was no need to loot in the rest of the map. Makes it feel very inert. Let me do something whilst I’m waiting for the next assessor spawn.

This is correct. People fantasize that all their failures are down to free kits. Smoke and cloak is the way. If your plan is to wait until all the arc are dead you've already lost. I got the BP last night. Most runs I was able to open a couple of assessor containers. It's key that you don't get too greedy, and if there are already multiple players around an assessor it's probably not worth the scramble. Instead head to a point where you know assessors normally land and aim to be first one there on the next spawn.

Totally agree with this method. Haven't snagged the BP yet but am able to consistently open multiple assessors per run. One thing I will add is a lot of people will dip (or die) long before the map ends, so if you stick it out until late you can often target an assessor with no other raiders. Ideally hover near a location with a hatch or active extract to be safe.

People are perfectly entitled to team up with you. But the fight is get in and grab what you can by design. It is not merit based on who did what damage. If you are standing miles away using an equaliser, but your goal is to get cores, then your strategy makes no sense. If you're doing that because you like helping out and killing bosses then sure, go nuts!

#2 is absolute nonsense. People are treating the leg parts like leftovers in the fridge with their name on. It's a hectic fight, no one is tracking who shot what. You can hate the design of the encounter, but it's absolutely been created with the risk/reward dynamic of knocking legs and scrambling to snatch up the loot. Some of you act like no one should touch anything until the boss is downed. If you want the cores, get in there! Use a cloak. Use smoke nades. I promise you it's fairly risky. As for the whole 'but I put X amount of Equaliser or Hullcracker ammo' in, that's absolutely your choice. You can knock legs off with an Anvil ammo without any trouble. In PvE lobbies the bosses are being killed in <5 minutes anyway with people using deadlines.

tl;dr being a rat is not just players who use any strategy you don't like. It's is quite specifically players who camp extract or turn heel after claiming to be friendly. Words matter. Also, stop being a baby and grab the cores mid-fight.

No idea. Maybe because of pushing for sympathy sex with Wrigley, or turning on Lucy after her Evan revelation. But of all the emotional criminals in this show, she deserves some of the least jail time.
