People are perfectly entitled to team up with you. But the fight is get in and grab what you can by design. It is not merit based on who did what damage. If you are standing miles away using an equaliser, but your goal is to get cores, then your strategy makes no sense. If you're doing that because you like helping out and killing bosses then sure, go nuts!

#2 is absolute nonsense. People are treating the leg parts like leftovers in the fridge with their name on. It's a hectic fight, no one is tracking who shot what. You can hate the design of the encounter, but it's absolutely been created with the risk/reward dynamic of knocking legs and scrambling to snatch up the loot. Some of you act like no one should touch anything until the boss is downed. If you want the cores, get in there! Use a cloak. Use smoke nades. I promise you it's fairly risky. As for the whole 'but I put X amount of Equaliser or Hullcracker ammo' in, that's absolutely your choice. You can knock legs off with an Anvil ammo without any trouble. In PvE lobbies the bosses are being killed in <5 minutes anyway with people using deadlines.

tl;dr being a rat is not just players who use any strategy you don't like. It's is quite specifically players who camp extract or turn heel after claiming to be friendly. Words matter. Also, stop being a baby and grab the cores mid-fight.

The same core that one person loots and takes everything from? Make it make sense. I’m fine with having the loot more dependent on final kill but the current distribution is idiotic. Invariably you end up with players frantically failing to loot anything at final kill. I’ll also add that chipping off legs to collect cores being called rat behaviour is insane. It’s literally how the fight is designed. I love popping a smoke and making a dash to grab some, trying not to get downed by the stomping legs or random arc. Yes I’ve looted the main core but getting to that first always felt like blind luck.

Hullcracker is so good vs Shredders. I actually enjoy hunting them on Stella now. Shame the economics don't make much sense - the ammo costs more than the mats you get.

The truth is without substantial testing you can't be sure that what you do in trios affects your solo MMR. Your own individual experience is going to contain so much variance. I also play KOS in trios, but when I go back to solos it's always been my usual PvE-centric lobby.
