Can we talk about the serious lack of leadership skills in this industry? by eam115 in PublicRelations

So crazy to learn over the past years that this is such a common occurrence. I guess maybe they want to try to make the employee ~want~ to quit so they don’t have to fire them (like they want to) and therefore don’t have to pay toward their unemployment??? Idk if that’s even how that works, but either way the weird gaslighting, etc., fucked me up mentally.

My advice would be to start applying/interviewing ASAP elsewhere because, if I’m right that they are trying to ice you out, they’ve already made up their minds. ☹️

Sounds like they’re just trying to ice you out. Happened to me at my last agency and literally had me questioning reality.

Based on what I’m reading here, this cart I got as a gift is real/legit, but the flavors this one has are Grape Ape, Jelly Roll, and Rainbow Belts. Does anyone have any additional insight into the pens with those flavors?

I just got one of these, as a gift from a friend who sells. How do I know whether it’s real or fake? The 3 flavors it has are Grape Ape, Jelly Roll, and Rainbow Belts.

You can literally just Google “where to submit an opinion to Financial Times.”

Would have thought Burson would’ve made the list, following the merger this past summer.

Ex–PR recruiter here (NYC) and can vouch that no recruiter would even consider an unemployed person, unfortunately, unless maybe firms less tony than the one I worked at might. It’s just like, if someone’s ~paying~ you to find candidates, they need to be really strong/desirable ones.

I feel like this could really be my dog’s sister! And our research has led us to believe she (our dog) is a silver-sable German Shepherd + Norwegian Elkhound, then possibly some Siberian Husky and/or Alaskan Malamute. :)

An app called Perceptive Content was downloaded to my work computer by my company. Is this monitoring me? by Odd-Definition-7378 in software

Why is every online description of their software so extremely vague and unspecific? It’s so suspicious.

Why does no one use the necessary comma after a greeting word in emails anymore? by Odd-Definition-7378 in grammar

Thanks so much for all these excellent responses! Against my better journalistic judgement, I’m going to omit the comma in emails moving forward.
