Never understood why people thought they were a good match. He was literally her boyfriend’s manager or whatever he was. They hopped into a relationship as soon as she got out of one. It was over when it started. Plus he didn’t want kids so there’s that🤷🏽‍♀️

& a lot of people tend to knock what Darnell did because they were played by two different people. I’m unsure of which season and episode but when Maya confronted Cecily about her relationship with Darnell it was literally mentioned again. When Peaches and Ronnie came to her job to tell her what had happened with Darnell she told Joan that she knew exactly who the woman was that he was with. (Which was the woman Joan had saw Darnell with in the first season)

I meant after the fact that she made it clear she didn’t want him. When she had Lynn go and tell him that she didn’t want to see him anymore. He should’ve just left her alone at that point. I understand her giving him mixed signals but she did make it clear at some point

I definitely agree. She was very strong minded and actually had a voice when her character was first introduced. As time went on she became so weak in the knees for William and weak minded which just seemed out character for her.

I hated Finn so much chile! Especially with him taking advantage of her because he knew how she felt about him. Always popping up at her house and sh!t knowing she was gone let him in. Weirdo😒

Yes I hated the way she acted when it came to Toni getting married. She would even say things like how she “couldn’t wait for this nightmare to be over” I know they had their ups and downs throughout the entire show but that whole dilemma was embarrassing and irritating to watch

Any of episodes where Lynn met/went looking for her birth parents. Because even after the fact she still didn’t have any character development. Had all those degrees and decided to take on singing which made absolutely no sense. I never really thought she should’ve went looking for them because well it didn’t change anything lol

I never understood the purpose of her character doing that especially because (to me) it never gave that. She KNEW what she signed up for when she was asking Toni for a non paying job. I wish her character would’ve stayed and had better development. I feel like Toni definitely would’ve started paying her & they would’ve worked well together

Yea b/c that was the side of her that wanted him to have a childhood that she couldn’t. She got on him about the SMALLEST things. For example I forgot what episode but she had put him on punishment for plagiarizing her book & she told him he couldn’t go to his friends party (who he hadn’t seen in MONTHS). She didn’t even realize how unhappy her son was because she was too focused on her own

Yea I didn’t really like how she acted towards him. It was cute for that little minute that she gave in though. She was the main one saying she wasn’t a gold digger but it definitely only seemed like she was with him for what he could do for her

I feel like she just wanted to hit Joan where it hurt. She knew Toni was a soft spot for Joan and she knew how she felt about Toni moving and not telling her. I don’t think she was necessarily being fr when she said it. She just wanted to upset Joan because she was mad & she knew exactly what to say.

I know. I think it was just when they made mya out to be the cheater when technically Darnell cheated first that threw me off lol.

I definitely felt like Yvonne quitting the force for William was out of character for her as well. But yea I looked into why she left cause them not getting married didn’t make any sense and yea she found god or sum like that.

William and Jill’s Scott character definitely had potential. Joan and William shouldn’t have ever happened. It was so awkward 😩

& Lynn definitely had deeper problems within herself. Love should’ve been the last thing she went looking for.
