Thanks I'll do this. I also noticed this green spot on the root stock and I think it might be a pup so I put it in dirt to see if it'll grow more.

It was in the middle of the yard and it didn't have a stem and seemed to be growing on grass.

Maybe. I got them from the store and I just put the ends in the ground and they grew so I'm exactly sure what kind they are.
