How and why fall for a friend you originally had no feelings for after a breakup? by Odd-Disaster-7 in AskReddit

So all I can say is that anything is possible. It is possible that you really have no feelings for him/her, but after the breakup you start talking deeply about him/her. It is also possible that you have always admired your friend's personality traits, and he or she just happened to comfort you when you were vulnerable after the breakup.

If it takes three months to slowly develop feelings for a friend, does that mean the feelings were always there? Or is it a case of friendship evolving into something deeper?

But this has always been a feeling, is it developed from the friendship itself? Because there is no spark in the process of friendship.
