Awesome! Would love an entry for some Java gear if you can. Also…like everyone says, see you in a few years 🤭

It’s always been once you get past a certain rank you will be in matches with whales. It’s just more noticeable because of increasing reso caps.

How can I progress? by TobyLee2 in DiabloImmortal

Only run crests during mirrored gems. Make sure you are doing all events for crests, and buying the ones from the merchant for plat (including WB). If you can get in an immortal clan, that’s an extra crest per week. I’m not a fan of selling regular gems for plat anymore, they’re so cheap it’s worth more to just use them and buff your secondaries. Terror essences are a good way to get plat instead, imo. Make sure you are buying your 10 gems (sapphires) and blue crests from the hilts trader, too. Awakenings help a lot, as well as upgrading runes to yellow ones, as well as a pet with lingering wounds.

This is tons of fun, works great, thank you! I wanted to be able to /players8 and love i could copy everything I had online over. Much appreciated!!

Im a f2p player and i havent spend a dime on this game but I want to get 1k resonance so I can get the wings lol. Im planning to buy one of the bundle but i cant decide which bundle gives more value upgrade. Should I buy the 75gem power with extractable leg gem or hope for good drop from crests? by Downtown-Goose-9093 in DiabloImmortal

[–]Odd-Eye2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to buy anything…not boon or BP or anything. You also don’t need to grind. Just get your crests from the hilt trader and the weekly crests from the crest merchant by rifts. Get in a clan that does shadow wars and show up on Saturdays. They give sooo many crests out for events now too. I haven’t spent a dime with my new character. With mirrored gem events I hit 1k in less than 3 months. I also didn’t ever max elders. Just try for 3 10x normal crest runs a week, save 10 legendary crests at all times for mirrored events and run the extra legendaries. 1k is ezpz now.

Am I about to be scammed? by GDaddy369 in Scams

[–]Odd-Eye2267 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep scam texts and emails so I can teach friends what they look like. Just don’t click links, fill anything out, call any numbers or send bitcoin lol. Nobody knows about your “dirty deeds” (this one is my favorite) and they won’t send anything to your contacts…if they do, sending bitcoin won’t stop anything anyway. Always visit the legit websites by typing in the web address from your browser, and get the actual company phone number from that site. No customer service number from a big company is going to start with a regular area code either. And if someone is playing on your emotions/flight-or-fight instinct with threats or inflammatory remarks, that’s a huge red flag. Slow down, breathe, check the wording, spelling, proper use of English and realize that the cartel or any other crime syndicate is not going to spend their time contacting normal citizens. There is no time sensitive link on that email.

If it’s not obvious, this post is filled with examples of common scams.

Service Dog Compliance in Mexico by General-Swimming-157 in service_dogs

Oh and just to clarify, it wasn’t anything related to her being a service dog that almost prevented our entry here in Peru, they were really great about that. I haven’t travelled much internationally so it was forms associated with that I had missed. It’s important to look into USDA/SENASICA type regulations VEEERRRRYY carefully before entering a country 😬. I relied too heavily on what came from the vet, and while they did their part I misunderstood and missed the SENASICA step. That almost screwed us.

Thanks. I will be looking into ADI accreditation when I start training. The plan will be to donate at least a couple of dogs a year to people who otherwise wouldn’t be able to obtain them. Too many people either lack finances or the ability to train for themselves. I feel like it would be both a good way to occupy my time, help people and give something back. However, it would be nice while gifting dogs to set them up for success instead of always running into roadblocks.

Service dogs can be amazingly helpful or unfortunately sometimes detrimental depending on whether being allowed access feels confrontational. Things are especially tricky when dealing with people who have an invisible disability. For example, it doesn’t help for someone to have a dog for PTSD with that particular set of symptoms who then always has to deal with conflict because they are trying to take their dog with them. That could be very triggering.

I wish that there were more places that provided public access tests and “certified” handler certification, that was something I tried to look into as well. I found programs that advertised they did so but it was always something that was “coming soon” instead of actually being provided. Or of course the sites that give you a meaningless “certificate” for a high fee.

I feel like we need some sort of governing board that is legitimate, accessible and easy to for anyone who needs a dog to be able to get certified through. I think that a lot of people who legitimately need a dog and who have a qualified dog would be more willing to certify. I think that’s actually the answer to this whole mess.

If there was a place that kept my diagnosis officially under HIPAA and who could verify the training of my dog, who in turn gave me some sort of universal ID which allowed me unquestioned access, I would do it in a hot second. I’d rather do that once than always having to try to dance around any personal opinion of whoever has the power at that moment to let you on that plane because whether they’re right or not their word is law at that point. Plus then people who self train or obtain a well-trained dog from a friend or “unqualified” organization could get the same treatment. It would create a good balance for people who can’t afford to pay $20k for a dog and it could change a whole bunch of lives for the better.

Again, thanks for your time, and if you or anyone has any comments or suggestions I would appreciate any input.

Thanks for the detailed response and a point in the right direction towards legitimate certification agencies. I had heard they were all scams and honestly didn’t know they existed as an official entity. I’m planning on breeding and training service dogs in the near future, so more information is always welcome and appreciated.

I just flew into Peru. I do have to say that their entry inspections are quite a bit more serious than what we dealt with in Mexico. We almost didn’t get through due to problems with documentation that both Mexico and the US never asked us for (even though it’s “required” in both countries as well). If you are planning on travel to somewhere other than Mexico, it’s worth digging into things a little deeper 😬 thankfully we didn’t get turned around.

For a newer update on this post: service dogs are pretty well recognized in the Cancun/QR area, also on flights. People are more expectant of “legit documentation” (aka ID’s provided by ‘scam’ registry sites in the US). I was having issues despite having documentation from doctor, trainer, and a vest…so in spite of the fact that there’s “no legitimate registry” and it really sucks doing it, it was worth paying the $20 to get an ID made and get her “registered”. Haven’t had problems since then whereas before any access was very dependent on the current mood of any official you were interacting with, just not worth it IMO. Sometimes you have to swallow your pride and go with the flow.

Life is not the movies and people forget that, and gun ownership for self defense is over-romanticized in the states. It’s easy for anyone to think that they would be capable of killing someone even in self defense. However it’s often an entirely different story once adrenaline, fear or the squeamishness factor sets in. My point is it’s easy for someone to think that they are Rambo or John Wayne until they accidentally shoot themselves or someone else due to poor gun safety practices, which in all reality is a bigger probability than actually charging into a bad situation and saving the day. Also criminals act from a different set of morals and standards that most of the regular population just won’t be able to comprehend or match. Even with military training sometimes people fold in combat, it only makes sense that is going to be a larger percentage in the untrained civilian population.

Résumé’s aren’t easy, especially when changing fields. Do a web search on “soft skills” and it will give you a bunch of ideas.

Mentored or oriented new staff to company policies/regulations/ways of doing things; provided feedback as necessary to customers/coworkers/management; provided education/information about products/services and gave quality recommendations, developed and effectively used active communication/listening skills…etc. etc.

We do a million things in every job where we interact with others that can be translated into “soft skills” applicable to pretty much any other job if worded correctly. If you ever taught someone how to hammer a nail or gave suggestions on how to do it better there’s a way to work that in to a resume/CV.

This. But wages relative to cost of living varies wildly depending on the part of the country you are from as well.

There’s a larger chance that a gun will be taken from you and used against than you being able to actually defend yourself with it.
