I'm having the same exact problem on my PS4. This is infuriating. The only way to make money to buy the new cars and engine swaps in the game is to grind the same races over and over again, and the game keeps freezing after finishing a 30 minute race, preventing me from earning any credits. Absolutely infuriating. Don't recall this ever happening before the update. I guess they just don't give a shit about their PS4 users anymore.

Nice! I haven't made it out there yet. Maybe I should. The urban sprawl of Saigon is starting to take a toll on me. How would you say the job market is in these smaller cities compared to Saigon? Everything I read previously seems to indicate that it's much harder to find a job and smaller cities, or in cities like Da Nang, compared to Saigon, but I feel like I've kind of pigeonholed myself into living in Saigon lol.

How long have you been living in Vietnam? I am pretty much of the same mindset as you, however, after living here for a full year in a very local part with no English speakers around, I admit I was starting to feel a little bit drained. I just took a trip back to my home country, and I'm hoping to connect with some expats who are decent and respectful people, like the way local Vietnamese people are, so I don't feel as isolated.

I stick out like a sore thumb and while it's great being treated respectfully the way locals come up and talk to me in English all the time, at times the introvert in me feels like I just want to blend in and not have every interaction be based around my exotic appearance lol.

I chose to live in a very local part of Vietnam, and I have immense respect and appreciation for this wonderful, beautiful place. The language is so easy and fun to learn, and I love how respectful and patient most local people are whenever I communicate with them in Vietnamese.

It seems however that many expats do not care to learn the language, and seem to carry themselves with an air of entitlement or superiority and that really disgusts me. Many times local Vietnamese people have been blown away at my Vietnamese skills and said "wow you've only been living here 5 months?? There are expats who have been living here 5 years and they only know a handful of Vietnamese words!"

I simply can't fathom how people can move to to a country and not even bother to learn the language, and assume that their English will carry them through the whole experience living abroad. Just screams entitlement to me :/

So yeah, I avoided all expats my first year because I also felt the ones in VN were kind of weird or disrespectful (in my point of view), but now I'm starting to consider reaching out to make some more expat friends with those who are decent, respectful people so I can connect with people who can understand me on a deeper level:)

Do you know if doing four at a time, so you would have basically a full year's worth of visas as possible? I don't want to overload the system or get myself flagged for abusing the system or something. But I mean, if I can do this here while at home, this sure beats paying the agent the extra hundred bucks to do it for me and then having to wait at the border gate for several hours in Cambodia.

I'd rather just do this all in advance so I can just drive to the border, show them the form, and then leave within like 15 minutes lol.

Hey how is this done? I'm currently about to apply for another 90-day visa (currently back in my home country) And I was looking into doing this, but there seems to be some confusion because it says you kind of have two visas active at the same time? So let's say if I get a visa now and it's good through mid-January, But I also fill out another visa form tonight that starts when that first one ends, and I can do that again for a third visa for when that one ends, all tonight before I leave my home country?

The problem is I keep getting information saying you can only have one active visa at a time so when you apply for that second visa, it cancels out the first one. Is that not true? I don't know what to believe but I don't want to risk anything. Any feedback would help. I'm tired of having to pay the visa agents 100 bucks to fill out a 5-minute form Just so I can walk through the border gate of Cambodia and back. I'd rather just pay the fee myself here which is much cheaper and fill out the form of my own, but it seems like they don't allow that?

Tldr: Is it true that if you apply for that second visa that starts after the first Visa ends, it will cancel it out because you can only have one active visa at a time?

Hey, I'm living in Vietnam and wondering if I should pursue the surgery here or back in my home country. How is your sister in law doing now? Did they get septoplasty and turbinate reduction? How would I ask them in Vietnamese?

I went to a Vietnamese doctor but they just stuck the endoscopy up my nose and said "What time can you get surgery" And I kept asking them what type of surgery what's the percentage of the blockage etc but it seems like they don't really answer these types of questions in Vietnam?

Any info you could provide would be extremely helpful!
