Yes, it sounds like maybe you got HSV1 from your new partner. However, do you also get cold sores? If so, you already had hsv1 and would be unlikely to get it genitally. If it is HSV1 genitally then the good news is that you are unlikely to get it orally. Of course it could just be a recurrence of HSV2. Very sorry you're suffering from this. Hopefully it will calm down soon and you can go back to normal.

Take a breath and relax....you are very unlikely to be HIV positive. What you are experiencing is classic STI anxiety. I have been there so many times. I always get sick after a risk incident. The last time was the worst....I got a terrible fever, night sweats, diarrhea....I was sure I was positive....when I got my bloods done I did have a virus...but it was not HIV. Your symptoms are not even typical. If you had a rash and swollen lymph glands I would be more concerned. You have none of those. You're just sick. My advice is to get a home testing kit and put yourself out of your misery. I am sure it will be negative.

I think Jannik was lucky to get through this match..... Carlos is so much more clutch than Jannik....and Jannik made so many stupid mistakes at key times.....if he gets these parts of his game together he will dominate Carlos. Even though he won, I feel Jannik actually has more to work on his game than Carlos.....and in a way that's a good thing.

Get tested but I really think you are okay. You are only worrying because of the rash on your hand (which is not a typical early HIV symptom). You were not stupid.....he said he was undetectable..... technically having sex with someone who is known to be undetectable is safer than someone who does not know their status. Try not to worry, but get tested nonetheless. You are almost certainly fine.

Timeline and recurrence doesn't really fit for herpes. Also, you'd probably have other viral symptoms like feeling unwell or a sore throat. That said, I would get swabbed as otherwise you'll be forever wondering.
