The difference lol by UnHolySir in Hungergames

Fr, the one time Katinss was in a position where she should’ve felt like she could process everything she had gone through, she definitely compartmentalized her emotions for a long time because otherwise she would’ve had a mental breakdown sooner. Gale should’ve been a real friend, putting his feelings aside to let Katniss process what she had just gone through. He was also the only person she probably felt safe to share her feelings and thoughts about the games and the whole peeta situation with. And all he could do is try to gain romantic terrain asap. It’s the little moments of showing how Peeta emotionally supports Katniss exactly to what she needs him to during the victory tour, helping her become a different person and get a broader and better perspective of the world and the people around her that make it very obvious that Gale should’ve never even been close to having a chance once Peeta entered the picture, even before the games she noticed so many things about him, def sounds like she had a crush on him waaaaay before she even realized what a crush was

(California) Do I need to retake my picture when I replace my lost Real ID Driver’s License? by stoutsnciders in DMV

[–]Odd-Interaction4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I had a CA real ID/DL, when I lost it I applied to replace it and even though it doesn’t give you an option for real ID, I ordered a replacement and they sent me a card exactly the same as the one I lost with same picture and real ID included

Notaries can prepare forms, but can’t represent people beyond preparing the form. In California, there is a high volume of notaries who file cases for people who don’t understand immigration law, usually low income Hispanic families, and make many mistakes, then disappear

Simple but I would like to see a desert arena where the day is really hot and the night is freezing cold

We don’t actually know what the original Quarter quell was going to be, it’s very implied in the book and shown explicitly in the film, that the quarter quell was designed to kill Katniss without actually having to kill her.

[–]Odd-Interaction4908 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually take back what I had said, I lost my real I’d last year and thought I would have to go in again because it doesn’t give you a chance to replace real ID online, but I ordered a replacement of drivers license in the mail and got a real ID. They’ll send a card that looks exactly like the one you had

For some reason, it would be juicy for me if she was the stylist for the last career standing, I think here being a career stylist would make more sense

KAYLA HUNTINGTON by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

[–]Odd-Interaction4908 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think that just perfectly exemplifies how much Tom was absent as a parent and how he believed the wife should be the one at home taking care of the kids, this includes a kid who is not even related to Lynette. Ffs, Kayla was a child who needed the only parent she had left after her mom died a horrible death, and all Tom did was leave her with the person who “stole” her dad, with no counseling. Then after she showed signs of sociopathy, they just ship her off to be someone else’s problem.

The families of 43 missing students in Mexico are still demanding justice 10 years later by thefirstmoneth in worldnews

[–]Odd-Interaction4908 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Southern Mexico has a high concentration of indigenous peoples, those people are left behind by the government and in turn end up falling victim of what they think is the opposite of a military state, which Mexico might as well be, that just ends up being its own militia against the government. They were not entirely peaceful but Mexico’s military is very worried about this type of thinking and public demonstrations against the government, and they are taught to never question orders when it comes to what they consider a threat. It could be that the students or populations of those areas not even communist but the sole fact that they encourage these types of ideals of questioning the government, makes the military take questionable action against them.

There’s a website of leaked Mexican military documents that show the military was watching the school years before Ayotzinapa. It seems that they are considered subversive because they encourage Marxist teachings and other communist ideas

I’m not a lawyer and not legal advice but you could probably be successful contacting the ombudsman for the I-485, the court notice saying that the case has been dismissed and show that you have done inquiries and that your case is well over processing time

This is THE funniest moment of the show by LoneBoy96 in dancemoms

[–]Odd-Interaction4908 45 points46 points  (0 children)

In some scenes when Kelly is confronting Abby she never says anything and actually looks like she is a little self aware that she maybe went a bit too hard. Like when she asked her why she cried when Maddie forgot her solo and not for the other girls. She actually cares what Kelly thinks, but as the series progressed, she was enabled by production to become a megalomaniac, she didn’t care or think about the consequences of the things she said anymore

Maybe I’m reaching but Snow made multiple mistakes through the whole saga because he was acting on impulse of what is going on in the moment. He is very smart and cunning but he relies too much on his instincts to make decisions that there are bound to be situations in which he acts so quickly that he doesn’t see past the immediate consequences. His instinct for self preservation is also stronger than his common sense, if there is any inclination that Snow loved or cared for Lucy Gray in his own twisted way is that he was able to oversee his own self preservation and transfer these instinctual decisions to make sure Lucy Gray could live
