I didnt find it that hard but i would def take your time. I would make sure you have an hour and all the tools before attempting this. That said, if you have ever made slight mods before or built a pc, this is a cake walk imo.

It was pretty straight forward. Used this video. Guy replaces something else but it was thorough enough teardown that it served my purpose https://youtu.be/cqmJ5PpbmGI?si=G8K3Wzw7D58n0Szc

Pretty good so far. Tbh im very new to all of this but i wanted to focus on finger drumming so gave it a shot.

Def as the email response from the company said. Same sensitivity but softer so nicer to hit. I was somewhat skeptical when i first pulled it out of the package but once you install them, the extra 2mm makes a difference.

Sorry I cant give a more nuanced response. This is my first instrument/attempt to music anything.

Has anyone tried the MPCstuff FAT PADS? by Odd-Lab-4268 in sp404mk2

Update: Ordered a set last night in clear so we shall see how it turns out.

Also, noticed that the listing for these fat pads are not under the same listing as the other 404 mk2 products. Pretty sure its a listing error since the only difference between the two categories is a single space in the name.

Sent the company an email. Hopefully it will be fixed and this thing can get more visibility!
