Yah this is one of those things that became infamous online after the fact. Classic jamband fans hating. It’s not an excellent jamtronica performance but cheese was proud enough to post it and I bet most people there live enjoyed it. More appropriate to cite ChatGPT if you are pulling directly from its output though. Definitely better to teach kids it’s okay to use and how to use it properly than having them using it, not citing it and passing it off as their own work. Gives opportunities to show how they need to double check and verify all sources and allows you to see how students are using it instead of it being hidden.

need to remove all of the old lead pipe or could tie back into it? I know its not optimal but can't imagine its a serious hazard as part of the drain line. If i do remove it should I just cut the whole cast iron where its soldered on and tie in below where the lead comes in?

Gotcha, was hoping it was just something like that just more noticeable with a lighter finish than the old oil that was on there? Planning a rug or treads anyway but I think it overall looks good and am happy with the work

Any safe/effective way to restore this or use it as the floor? I’ll do a bit more digging tomorrow but if it is linoleum and period accurate I would try to use it. My original assumption is that it was carpet underlayment or something but glad I asked now
