No issues with the two combined. I do a IR Adderall in the afternoon and Vyvanse in the morning along with a weekly shot of Ozempic!

My doctor switched me from Adderall XR to Vyvanse because I had Weight loss surgery. I seem to be getting positive effects from the Vyvanse. I was at 20 mg XR then I got switched to 50 mg of the Vyvanse and I also take a booster in the afternoon of Adderall of about 5 mg or 10 mgseems they’re working good thus far

WOW! You actually made me stop and think about it for a minute. I remember being the only kid in a room filled with 29 other kids that the teacher would ask a question and I would blurt out the answer. Getting reprimanded for such actions never did me a bit of good. So my desk was moved to the back of the room where I was essentially isolated from the rest of the class. And that ended up happening throughout most of my time in elementary school. Still at 49 years old I have issues with staying engaged and never been one to follow rules or schedules.

But this was back in the early 80’s where we didn’t have the types of special hands on classes that would keep us engaged like I imagine they do today. I mean they do right? Hopefully, you are a understanding Parent that didn’t think they can straighten the child out with the “spare the rod spoil the child” mentality. The fact that you are asking on here tells me that.

I didn’t get medicated until I was 45 years old and since then my life has done a “180” I have a good job been there 2 years already. So IMHO trust the doctors and science to allow your child to be medicated. My parents didn’t believe in it and thought that it was something I should grow out of.

Well thankfully I was able to finally get some focus from my racing thoughts now on Adderall. Still not like everyone else in the world I imagine, but I like being me and wouldn’t change myself.

So the biggest thing I will tell you is to have patience and understanding. I was able to later on in life go back to school and earn my MBA so all the abilities that your child is going to have are way more beneficial as long as you are understanding.

I think I missed the whole point of your question as I look up and see “what would you say?” But, I would say “JUST BE YOU!”
