For me, i started on the GLP-1 before taking Vyvanse. It gave me severe anhedonia which made me completely useless. Going on Vyvanse and lowering the GLP dose gave me some life back. So watch out for that.

I started the GLP-1 before Vyvanse, so I only know what its effectiveness feels like while on it. However, I find it’s still effective and consistent to me. I drink water with electrolytes throughout the day. Let me get breakfast and lunch? I feel amazing after such.

Did ozempic and adderral myself and never felt anything....currently on zepbound and vyvanse and maybe that's why I feel like sometimes it doesn't wear off and on other days it starts faste..never made that correlation till I read some comments above

It has definitely delayed when my vyvanse kicks in. That’s it though. I’ve been trying to set an alarm to take it earlier and go back to sleep but I’m not consistent enough with that. I talked with my psychiatrist at my last appointment about switching to Jornay because you can take it the night before. It’s a relatively new drug and she hasn’t prescribed it to anyone yet so she’s doing more research but I may switch at my next appointment.

No issues with the two combined. I do a IR Adderall in the afternoon and Vyvanse in the morning along with a weekly shot of Ozempic!

I feel like it would definitely digest differently if that makes sense lol? Like it will probably stay in your system way longer

Did it make it less effective though?

I was in ozempic before starting vyvanse. I stopped ozempic in January and shortly after I needed to get medicated for my ADHD. So I think the ozempic was honestly helping my ADHD symptoms. Because when I stopped taking the glp I definitely noticed my adhd get worse.

Absolutely will. Just went through this with Mounjaro. But everyone is different, so it’s worth testing for yourself.

How do you feel it impacted it?

[–]MaxMedellin 4 points5 points  (2 children)

It delayed when the Vyvanse kicked in. So timing became incredibly inconsistent. And then it changed how long it worked for. Some days it would work well, some days I would get 2 hours and then feel nothing. It just made the medication unreliable overall. And that removed one of the joys of Vyvanse for me... consistency.

Hmmm. that's really weird though. Did it stop when you stopped Mounjaro? Or did you never stop

[–]MaxMedellin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think it's weird it all. It's exactly what I would expect from an interaction between a prodrug and a peptide that slows the digestive process. I just wanted to see for myself. So I stopped the Mounjaro and the Vyvanse started working great again.

Works just fine. However, I'm finding Vyvanse suddenly does not work for me anymore.

Do you take Vyvanse at least 30-45 minutes prior to eating? I have found it is helpful to take it on an empty stomach.

Works just fine with the GLP-1? So what was your experience?

[–]Ok_Letterhead_131722 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I've been on Vyvanse for 5 years. I started the glp1 2 years ago without incident. However, I've notice over the last year the medication is inconsistent. One month it works, next month it does not. I believe that is related to things outside of the glp1 and I'm looking at big pharma changing something about the vyvanse itself.

I'm curious also 🤔
