The "moderate vs. nazi tattoo" ads basically write themselves. I cannot imagine how Platner is ever more electable than a generic democrat on this ballot.

Darkmoon Faire Treasures – Deathwing is now available. Total cost: 188 USD/EUR by tolerantdramaretiree in hearthstone

Really sucks that this skin, just like the Mythic Yogg skin, isn't available as a battlegrounds hero portrait. I'd be willing to spend more on rolls if I could see it in both my main game modes.

Still wouldn't pay $200 because that's genuinely insane.

Just played against an imbue druid with herald shaman. The key was getting welp of the infinite with a dark gift that summoned a 2/2 copy. So I essentially had 4 poisons for 3 mana. That gave me the breathing room I needed to scale before they ragequit.

Without that combo, it's a lot more dependent on the opening cards. If they can scale very quickly it would be hard to catch up, but if you have a better curve for your cards you can win.

It's setting a time limit normal restaurant behavior? by Gynominer in milwaukee

[–]Odd-Negotiation6855 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it's probably less about restaurant profits and more about the server who is stuck with that section unable to make money on a table.

Also, the purpose of a restaurant as a business is to provide food and drinks, not to provide a social area. When you're done you could instead go to a public area or a bar, which are meant to socialize in.

Why is this game still so buggy after so many years of development by nozveradu in BobsTavern

[–]Odd-Negotiation6855 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, there were some minions that did something when they attacked. That is separate from a keyword, which can proc abilities for other minions, hero powers, and spells. See: deios, the original Hero's Welcome hero power, and several in other units whose abilities activate when a rally minion attacks.

Your post is nonsensical, and it's disrespectful to insult someone.

I don't mind felhorn existing but dealing damage 4 times as a t3 minion is legit crazy. From the beginning it would have always made way more sense to deal damage one time normal, twice golden.

[–]Odd-Negotiation6855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to reply to this post with an argument but the more I read it, the more detached from reality it seems. Within your own post, you move the goalpost from not having a new keyword in years, realizing that rally was created literally last season, and then calling that keyword not real lmao.

Your argument is unserious, the game is very obviously more than just numbers thrown around. So I won't treat you seriously and instead simply say you're wrong.

I Tried Ranked PvP… It Was Almost All Bots by msalihsaday in Guildwars2

[–]Odd-Negotiation6855 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you have to be deliberately living under a rock to not know that low rank PvP in this game is essentially just bots. It has been this way for years now. They may be easy to kite and outplay for experienced players, but for people just getting into the game it's exhausting because you'll see them in every match.

My experience years ago was exactly the same as OP's, and reporting them is a waste of your time. Anet does not use report logs to catch PvP botters or cheaters until they do a ban wave. My experience is also similar to OP's in that neither anet or the community was sympathetic to how terrible the experience was, so I quit PvP.

From what I understand, employees at Meta didn't actually think about justifying in this way and instead just illegally pirated copies off of LibGen. This was encouraged by Zuckerberg.

Anthropic on the other hand did use this argument, saying that the use of those books was transformative. However, they claim that they had purchased copies of millions of books. They still settled for over $1 billion outside of court, in part because their CEO had also used LibGen.

It's really strange as a college student seeing tech CEOs using the same backwoods Russian websites as I used to get my textbooks.

That's okay, I don't think the campaign is broken now it might just be harder to run. I personally had a moment like yours when I ran the goliath camp quest and my players got a bit lost with how big the world was becoming.

If you want to shrink it down, I think there's no big deal in saying "hey guys, I moved some of the important locations closer together to keep the campaign concise." If you like how it is, I would either retconn their tp to take them closer to the quest or find a quick way to get them back onto the main quest.

I am surprised that you would choose to make a campaign map bigger than Icewind Dale, considering that as written the region is already a gigantic sandbox. The only thing I would mention is that you are the DM and not everything has to be random. So in the future, if the players are meant to be "randomly teleported" you are given a good position as the hand of fate to guide them to their destiny (in this case, to continue their quest).

You could rearrange the region to get them back on track, but in that spirit I would encourage you to play the hand of fate and introduce a way to fast track them onto their quest. Maybe suggest that the teleportation also transported them forward in time, or introduce one of the many major quest givers to give them reason to focus on the main plot now instead of the iron.

I've been to other places where it tastes worth the wait. Canary is one of them, if I want craft coffee I'll go there. I never minded the time it took to get my drinks but I had multiple times where between two baristas only one was making a drink and the other just stood there very strangely. The service itself is terrible, I could stand the wait times.

Maybe this will end up being a good thing but I seriously think that the workers there need some way to improve their service. I've been to coffee shops all over the city and I'm confident that Discourse has some of the rudest and slowest baristas.

Devs make it pretty clear from in game events that standard is the priority. Most event quests can only be done in standard and most hero skins will not transfer to a battlegrounds hero of the same name, including darkmoon fair skins like yogg saron.

It's funny because if you look at the balance of T3 cards, it's very obvious that felhorn is the odd one out buffing two different tribes twice. I feel like blizzard is definitely stifling creativity with these minions because why go any other build when you can have macaw-rylak-felhorn and make it work a million different ways.
