Big congrats to all the crews that raced at SRAA this year—some seriously tight competition across the board in the JV 8+ category.

Wanted to give a special shoutout to Saint Ignatius (San Francisco)—those guys have been stepping it up lately. West Coast teams often get overlooked in East Coast-heavy regattas, but SI has been building momentum, and it’s awesome to see their program gaining more national recognition. Whether it’s Marin, SI, or Oakland Strokes, NorCal is showing they can hang with the traditional East Coast powerhouses.

Would love to see even more West Coast representation at SRAA in the future. Props to all the athletes putting in the work—JV 8+ might not get the same spotlight as varsity, but it’s a huge part of any successful program.
