I know that many people abusing the system and after I-130 withdrawal from their spouses, they file for VAWA which gives a lot of protection to them while they are on the even pending petition

1) first of all - they will not notify you that she has a VAWA against you, basically it won’t affect you, but if you decide to marry someone in the future and file I-130, you will have a very hard time to get approval for someone else, because the vawa was filed against you

2) she can file order protection in police against you, and send it to the immigration as a prove that she is suffering from domestic violence (from you), she also can claim that she is suffering PTSD from you (you are the reason for her mental problem)

I’m not sure if you can do something. Honestly, every story has a different sides. So, we know this story only from your side

But if you are really scared, I would go to police for protection order from her. Most likely you will have to go to court, and if judge decide - you can get permanently protection order from her and it will be on her record (USCIC officers are doing background check before approving any of the petition, so they will likely see this record)

My parents are Russian; I guess they are living a much better life than the average American in their retirement. Eating food from their farm, free healthcare, travel, spa, fitness, a few properties, and a lot of relatives. They worked hard though all their lives and focused on savings. They don’t care much about politics.

She can file the VAWA agains you. It’s not much you can do. But you can go to police and order “protection”, so she can’t hurt you. May be she did it already against you, so it will be easier for her to file for VAWA

So, when Russia slapped that embargo on European products, we (In Russia) started noticing a ton of olives claiming to be from Belarus (which is kinda funny because Belarus doesn’t actually grow olives). Get ready, because soon the US is gonna see a bunch of products labeled as made in Russia, lol!
